This is the place to go when you want something that is not the same old thing. I'm pretty sure it is authentic Indian. The place is elegant. I had the Gosht Akbari, lamb cooked with fruit and just spicy enough to have an after bite. We got there at 8:30pm on a Saturday, and got seated right away. My... More

The Oven East was located across a quiet street from our hotel and I'd eaten a couple of times at their Haymarket location so was happy to have this one located so close. It was a Saturday night and I was surprised that there wasn't much of a crowd there. We had garlic naan (very good), my husband had muligatawny... More

Always a good meal at the Oven in a relaxed trendy atmosphere. Arrived just before 6pm on a Friday without reservations and were seated immediately. By the time we left tables were filling up so if arriving later reservations are suggested. We ordered the spinach naan bread which is one of our favorites as an appetizer with a glass of... More

This was our first introduction to Indian food. We met a relative for dinner who had recommended Oven East as he is a local and had been there before. So we went with his suggestion. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the tables and booths are reasonably spaced in a way that a large crowd was not seated elbow... More

I'm more of a Steak guy, but, would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something different. Also, the entree's are all under $20 and many under $15. I had the madras, with both chicken and lamb. The only reason I didn't give The Oven a 5 star rating was that the meat was overcooked and dried out... More

The decor is nicely done, but this location is in a small strip business-shopping plaza, which affects the ambience a little. However, the food was very good. Definitely go for the soup -- it was great. Our curry and tandoori meals were both nice, and also heated up well the next night. The naan was wonderful!

The service was helpful and the decor pleasant, especially for a strip mall. The chicken tikka masala was slightly greasy and not as creamy as I would have liked but above average. The rice was more Midwestern than Indian but the onion kulcha was delecious. Not sure I would return unless I lived here instead of visiting.

We visit during lunch or dinner, and service is always excellent. Menu has variety, and portions are big. We always munch on the papadums.

Enjoyed eating at the Oven East with my daughter. While the table was quite small, the waiter was very pleasant and helpful. I had not eaten at the East location. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the wine selection.

this place has some good food. it is Indian food, so it may not be for every one, but if you like Indian food, this place is very good. the food is of course spicey, as is with Indian food. I love the food. and they have some good drinks there. I love the Rossi.
