The place to be and be seen!

Coffees, granites, teas, snacks, people talking, studying, reading - The Mill is a lot like Lincoln's front porch. Sit a spell and people watch or take home a mug and fresh roasted beans to brew your own.

Great coffee establishment , has been around since 1975. This is a great hang-out to have a cold ice coffee or hot latte . Just siting on the dock enjoying a friends conversation or just people watching down in historic Hay Market. Always meeting new people and acquaintances down at The Mill.

We were walking around the Haymarket district, and spotted The Mill. I'd read reviews and wanted to try it. I liked the atmosphere. It was comfortable...and let's face it, a true to form coffee house. The baristas were friendly and helpful. But my latte was not to my liking. We did try the pastries they sold, and they were delicious.... More

Located in the heart of the upscale Haymarket neighborhood, this is a classic yet trendy coffee house. You could be in Greenwich Village in 1965. Exposed brick walls, funky art, and a young hip crowd. Free WiFi helps keep people hanging around, and there's lots of seating. I don't drink coffee, but the handmade chocolate candies were to die for,... More

Up scale coffee house, typical collage age kids and liberal 30 southings. The music of often weird, A good place to read the newspaper, lots of people working on computers, lots of people drinking coffee alone, so it might be a good place to find a friend.

Always a wonderful place to get a great cup of coffee. I enjoy sitting on the dock outside, and relaxing with coffee made by the Mill. Probably the best coffee house in Lincoln.

Very nice coffee shop. I would consider it one of he best, if not the best, in Lincoln, Plenty of seating, free WIFI, plenty of room to visit with friends, or do homework. Some outside seating. Limited pastry/food choices, but you cannot ask for everything.

Great selections of coffees and other drinks you would find at coffee shops? The atmosphere is great all year around.

Great fun to visit and try something different. They have lots of seating and I enjoy people watching while I sit and relax with a delicious drink. Food is hit and miss. Some of the desserts are too dry for me but if you like to dunk in your coffee, they may be right up your alley.

A business that advertises on NPR is by definition superior! (like its listeners!) The Mill also happens to have good coffee. I need to go back to decide if they deserve the fifth star.
