Charming

I came in to this essentially hotel restaurant and bar because it was the closest bar to my hotel down the street. I didn't expect much, but I was honestly a bit surprised. The staff and owner were very friendly and engaging and made it instantly a comfortable place to be. I had the meatloaf, which... read more

Wow... this food was all home made and such good portions. Quick service, great prices, a place that we will be back when we're in town. The BBQ meatloaf, sandwich which I had onions added, was out of this world. I ate half and took the rest to my room...oh my, it melted into my mouth. Making me hungry and... More

We were on an annual road trip and tired of the typical fare, so we did a quick online search to find this restaurant off the Hwy. WOW, are we glad we did! Our food was absolutely marvelous (from crab cakes to hot pepper jam chicken and bbq meatball sandwich to a tasty bread pudding). Even our drinks were beyond... More

We had dinner here while passing thru. Pot roast stroganoff and my wife had the crab cakes. Good food, fairly good service, reasonable prices. Last time we were passing thru we went to a well known steak house in the Haymarket area. High prices, substandard food, disappointing service. So Beacon Hills was a pleasant surprise.

We chose Beacon Hill only because we were staying in the hotel it is attached to and it was happy hour. We both ate the happy hour burger and it was fantastic. We were so tired after a long day of traveling and were so thankful for a nice atmosphere, good service, and good food. I did have a margarita,... More

Had Easter brunch here with family. A large party of 12 of us. Everything was fresh and delicious. Enjoyed the variety of breakfast and lunch items. Loved the salad bar with the shrimp and smoked salmon. A special treat. A great place for Sunday Brunch or special holiday meal. We will be back!! Probably for mothers day😄

Really good Easter brunch. Something for everyone. Salmon, shrimp, breakfast, roast beef, several dessert selections add well. You can dress up our down.

I stayed in the attached hotel for a few nights and decided to walk downstairs for a nice dinner with my toddler. It was so convenient to walk downstairs without having to put on our boots and heavy coats since it was snowing pretty heavy outside. The service was very friendly, the food was really good and the ambiance was... More

I have been here twice for business luncheons. The service was excellent both times. The menu has several local recipes and the it appears that a lot of the food is made from scratch. While the inside of the restaurant reminds one that he/she is in a hotel restaurant, the food does not. It is so much better than typical... More

This was our first visit and definitely will not be our last! The food was more comfort type food and was delicious! The staff was attentive and efficient and the place was quiet and comfortable. We shall return!
