Stopped in on a Saturday evening while traveling across Nebraska. We had a large party and they were able to accommodate us within 15 minutes. On Friday and Saturday nights the have smoked prime rib so several in iur group ordered it. The prime rib was good but didn't have much if a smoke flavor. The bacon wrapped shrimp was... More

This was my first time eating here and I was not disappointed. I ordered the BBQ Brisket. It came with warm bread and two side items. The side items are all you can eat which is rare in today's market. The brisket was very flavorful and tender. The portion size is larger than Famous Dave's with a lower price. I... More

We couldn't stop raving about the food here. When we arrived at our hotel we asked for suggestions. The desk attendant mentioned several. We pursued Skeeter Barnes. Their response was "depends on what you order". We must have ordered everything right. We had three different types of steaks and each was delicious. The sides were very good also (plus you... More

Had some good ribs at Skeeters, along with average brisket, pulled pork, and smoked sausage. The medium hot sauce is tasty and goes a long way to make things tasty. But the sides have a ways to go--the cole slaw with peanuts tastes salty and we just didn't get it. The BBQ beans tasted slightly better than out of the... More

I was pleasantly surprised how good this restaurant was. The hotel staff behind the restaurant recommended Skeeters so I walked across the parking lot. The rack of ribs were meaty! I did not leave hungry. The ribs were a dry rub with a salty, BBQ'y, and sweet (brown sugar?) taste. I wasn't sure I'd like the dry rub yet was... More

Everything was good. We had pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, ribs, baked beans, skeeter rita. Kids meals came with a cookie that was warm. Would go there again.

I had the brisket, my wife had the pulled pork. Both meats were good, however they could've been warmer. Meat was luke warm, but the sides were steaming hot. I had the mashed sweet potatoes which were awesome, and my wife said her baked beans were good as well. The home made bbq sauces were also good, but the bottles... More

We ate here because it was recommended by a local merchant. We have eaten there 3 times now. It was super the first two times. Food was just perfect and service was great. The last time we ate there the food was not as good as it was before. Probably a different cook but they should put some effort into... More

If you are looking for great barbeque, good beer, and great service this is it. Tiffany gave us outstanding, fun service. Four of us shared the meal for 2-3 persons. Portions are generous! The price is right. Nice local beer selection. Ribs falling off the bone. Brisket so tender you don't need a knife. Pulled pork to die for. Try... More
