This restaurant is a stand out for quality in food, wine and service. Located away from the main tourist area, it is worth seeking out. The food is adventurous without losing the local identity, very well presented with interesting flavours. I am also impressed when the wine recommendation is moderately priced and not the most expensive on the list. This... More

We rarely go back to the same place twice whilst on holiday, let alone whilst touring the east and north coast of Sicily on our honeymoon. Badalamenti, however had us returning twice in 4 days... Badalamenti is a wine bar and restaurant situated in a residential area (we stayed at B&B Mondello Resort) approx. ten minutes walk from the small... More

I booked this restaurant, prior to travelling to Mondello, with a great sense of excitement, following the excellent recommendations I had read. The meal was well above average but the ambience was dreadful. Being a serious 'foodie' I asked a lot of questions, when ordering, but even the owners were unable to explain their menu. When one goes on holiday,... More

This not one of those traditional sicilian restaurants. It has a more trendy-modern-urban feel. the food and the service is good. The owners are definetely brothers (probably twins). We went there with two kids who really don't fancy michelin kind of foods, but the waiters were so understanding they prepared a simple pasta with basic tomato sauce for the kids.... More

Loved the food so much that we came here twice during a four day stay in Mondello. Excellent service and good Sicilian food, with an extensive wine list, what more could anyone want?

Food was great. Atmosphere was polished but not stuffy. We were given great wine recommendations to go with our dinner (pasta with sea urchin followed by fish). The entire experience was fantastic. Thank you!

This place was so good that my husband and I went back 2 nights in a row - we never do that on vacation because we love to try different restaurants. Not only is the food fresh, top notch and crazy good but the service is outstanding. In addition the atmosphere is lovely. The owners are 3 brothers who are... More

Enjoyed a leisurely Sunday lunch here - with the kind assistance of one of the owners the menu was verbally translated into English for us. There were four in our party and we all chose different dishes to exchanges tastes - *the Tortino di Melanzane con Fonduta di Ragusano, Vellutata di Pomodoro e Perlage di Basilico Eggplant Pie on Ragusano... Like the other reviews have said, don't bother with seafront places, aim for this place. Warm, intimate and modern atmosphere. Freshest sea food I had during a week in Palermo. You can get 3 courses for €22 and each one is fantastically tasty and substantial. We asked one of the brothers who run the place if we could have wine... More
