We were crossing through Nebraska en route to Yellowstone. Stopped in Gothenburg to see the Pony Express (fun), the Mud Hut (fun and informative, also disappointed it is a replica), and at Runzas. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The people working there were like zombies, like our group from Chicago left them in shock. The food... More

Eat elsewhere. Runza is the best kept secret in Nebraska. They should keep it. Soggy bread with greasy meat and processed cheese. Nasty. Onion rings were good though! Oh, and if you are thinking "She's not from Nebraska, she doesn't get it.", bad food is bad food anywhere. I love bierrocks, and Runza is not a bierrock. Not even close.... More

While Runza carries your usual fast food hamburger menu, it also has its own unique sandwiches, a beef and spices mix enclosed in dough. The dough was very light and thin, not doughy at all. The meat mix was very tasty. I'd go there often if they were around us!

I can think of some good advertising..."If you got the Runza, this place can't help." ..."Walk, don't Runza, for some average fast food!" ... "No hits, no Runza, all errors." Feel free to sing along on this one, "If you see me walking down the street, and I start to eat a Runza suprise, Walk on by, just walk on... More

I had never had a runza before but heard that this was the quintessential Nebraska food experience so I was eager to try one. I was not impressed. I am hoping that the reason for this is that it is a fast food local franchise and that a "real" runza exists out there and is worth the hype. Next time... More

We had never heard of Runza's before, but those sandwiches are worth the stop! Burgers are also just as tasty as any other fast food restaurant's.

This is one of the first times Trip Advisor has lead us astray. This was a very disappointing visit. Being rated the number 1 restaurant in Gothenburg we were really looking forward to our meal. But, I think they missed on this one. The service was quick and the food was hot, but a Runza is not all that.

As we headed to Lincoln, NE we stopped at an old favorite RUNZA! We decided to try the burgers instead of the usual Runza. They were delicious. The staff was pleasant and fast. The clerk had the burgers and onion rings at the table before I got back from washing my hands.

Runza, a Nebraska fast food chain, specializes in "runzas", homemade rolls with the meat mixed with cabbage stuffed inside and baked. But we love their fresh homemade hamburgers. The French fries are very good also. If you like to eat healthy, we recommend their Berry Chicken Salad. They also have a daily choice of homemade soup. It's hard to find... More

Nebraska is famous for their Runza restaurants and we try to visit every chance we get. Somehow the runzas we got at the Cozad Runza were exceptional!
