Apparently Feik couldn't make a go of it and sold out to Maria. They apparently kept the same steak chef, so the hamburger was actually well made, although not on the "homemade" bun that was promised. Unless, perhaps, Maria lives at the local WalMart. Avoid the Mexican menu like the plague. If you want Mexican in Chadron, then Taco Bell... More

From the outside, it's still Feik's, and locals know it by this name (had to ask, as the corner where Tripadvisor shows it is wrong!), but something has changed, I guess, it is now advertised as "Mary's Bar 120". Service is still a little rough, but the steaks mentioned by the other reviewers are still great! Tender, cooked to order... More

I chose to dine here due to the great reviews about their steak. I am vegetarian, but my husband was dying for a place to get a good, local steak. We were so happy with our choice! The food was excellent along with the service. My husband, who is very picky when it comes to steak, thoroughly enjoyed his entire... More

Thought a steak would be a good choice in Chadron and went here on reccomendation of our motel. Maybe our expectations were set too high by her reccomendation, but meal was ok, not great. Since we split our meals, we hoped for a bigger sirloin than what was served (understand the rib eye is much bigger). Potato was on small... More

After coming off of a hunting trip on the prairie, I read the reviews of the local Chadron restaurants. This one had the best review so I picked my poison. One of the better meals I've had on the road. The steak was delicious, as were the potatoes and corn. My onion petals were also a treat. The waitress was... More

Feiks can be a little intimidating- it is truly redneck-land. I moved to Chadron and felt very comforstable ther. When my boyfriend and I walked into Feiks the first time it felt like we were walking into someone house to eat- everyone knew each other, but us. That wasn't the case when we left. Everyone was friendly and the food... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by hotel owners for a great steak. We were not disappointed. We all ordered a Rib-eye with a choice of potato and a vegetable side. Best steak we have eaten in a long time.

As we hit Chadron, I realized that I hadn't had a steak yet in Nebraska. Luckily, we met the owner of this restaurant outside our motel, and he told me to order the prime rib. It's so casual that he was concerned when he saw that I had changed into a clean T-shirt to go to his place, but the... More
