We live locally and this is by far our favorite restaurant. They are so consistent and it is always good. We highly recommend the Goonie Roll! Make reservations because they are always full.

Local to the area, Wasabi is my favorite restaurant in the area. Though its a bit loud in the main area, the food is amazing as well as the service. I have never been disappointed. I would recommend sitting off to the side and not the middle due to the poor acoustics.

Great Sushi and rolls along with cooked food. Nice place with good service, got us in without reservations, the last table. Real accommodating

We ate here in August of 2013 while on vacation. The sushi was good considering how far inland Whitefish is. As someone else pointed out, it was good we had reservations as it was very busy. Our waitress was attentive without being pushy or standoffish. One thing that I found peculiar is that they wash and reuse the chop sticks.... More

We went to Wasabi because it was highly rated but were disappointed. The waitress was very pushy without actually paying attention to us. It was good that we had a reservation though, as the place was crowded. The miso soup was good. The sashimi was cold, not room temperature as it should be, and the fish was fairly flavorless. The... My husband and I come to this Sushi bar every year when we visit Whitefish. At first we would go at least three times during our stay; however, the last couple of times we have been a bit disappointed. That being said we will still go as the sushi is still tasty and they provide a variety of different sushi.

Ate here with a group of coworkers while on business in Whitefish. Was pleasantly surprised by the Montana interpretation of sushi and Asian food. The squid salad with bracken fern was one of the more intriguing Asian dishes I've ever tried, and the smoked trout roll blended Rocky Mountain cuisine and sushi in a delicious way. This place is small... More

I have been eating at Wasabi since their doors opened many years ago. I have always found their sushi to be fresh and delicious. The menu is varied and offers a wide range of options. It's not a large place, so it is best to make a reservation. For people who have non sushi eaters in their group, Wasabi also... More

Wonderful little sushi place. I love the soft-shell crab sushi. They also have a grill chef if you want something besides sushi. Very popular so make reservations.

Really cool atmosphere, really friendly staff and good selection of dishes. I have been there twice and haven't made my way through half of the menu, but there is a nice selection of both raw and cooked food (for non sushi eaters). One example of this are the shumai (dumplings). My friends and I now have a game (shumai surprise)... More
