Good food

Has always been a favorite in whitefish. On the more expensive side, but this time well worth it! never been a fan of grits but the shrimp and grits is a must try along with the bread pudding! Pete has been there for years and is always perfect in service.

We have eaten here, off-and-on, as long as it has been open, nearly 20 years, even there Whitefish is several hours from our home. Although the restaurant has expanded, it remains the go-to place for good dining near the western edge of Glacier National Park. Tupelo has it all - ambiance, fine and varied food and friendly, attentive service.

This restaurant is so amazing- you can spend hours savoring each bite. I had lamb with cherry compote. So good- I ate slow to savor the flavors. The staff is well trained and we found out that the majority have been there since the restaurant opened more than 5 years ago. Says a lot about the owners. My family in... More

While reading menu outside, "Mike" came up to us and said, "Go in. It's the best in town." (Reminiscent of a famous line from "The Godfather.") We did and were glad we followed his advice. Friendly/competent staff and classy, yet unpretentious, surroundings. Smart menu too. My wife and I shared the generous fennel/arugula/pine nut salad for starters. Wow - best... More

Service was excellent! Food was okay. I was a little disappointed you had to sit on the bar side to order tapas. I had the Cajun pasta and my hubby had the elk meatloaf. Both were good but not "Oh my gosh good." I was expecting tastebud heaven based on the reviews (and the price). Wish we would've went to... More

This restaurant came highly recommended, and we can see why! We were greeted by "Stace" who was so delightful! The wine list was extensive and we enjoyed the creative menu. The halibut special was SO DELICIOUS! The chef certainly knows how to properly prepare fish. Our server was excellent. We loved this little gem in Whitefish.

I used to live in the Flathead Valley and this was always one of my favorite places to go when I could afford it. I was recently their with my daughters and two grandsons for a vacation and we had a wonderful meal there. You will not be disappointed. Great menu selection so everyone will find something to enjoy. Lovely Halibut special and flourless chocolate cake dessert. Great Gluten free menu and attention to detail needs.

This is a neat place with an interesting menu and I like to support locally owned businesses, but the food was a bit slow and despite the wait for food my side dish was cold in the middle and probably should have been sent back.
