We loved Coopers, and we especially loved the "clam chowder" on Fridays. It was (note, I said "was") a regular Friday night destination for us. They have a new owner. Right off the bat, it took 17 minutes for a waitress to show-up at our table, and then only after I spoke up. The clam chowder went from the "best"... More

Stopped in here our first night in Whitefish (6/23), not really knowing where to go yet. It looked appealing from the street. The staff was very friendly, and the food very tasty. We sat on the patio in back, and enjoyed a very pleasant evening and dinner. Did not get the chance to visit a second time, but would definitely... More

While we were in Whitefish we wanted to grab a bite late Sat afternoon, which turned out to be more complicated. Went to two locations Loulas and buffalo cafe and both closed at 3pm. Really for a resort town in the summer? Then we tried Coopers, the door was open but it took a while before the bartender acknowledged us... More

Located downtown Whitefish. On the night we went there they had a prime rib special for $19.99 and the dinner was excellent. Service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend!!

The decor is understated and casual but done in a really nice way. Also has a cute bar area. Had a party of 6 for lunch and it was less than $100 so that was pretty impressive to us. Also liked the variety on the menu. Service could have been a little more attentive, was also way too cold in... More

We stumbled across Coopers and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get right in on a busy evening. The patio dining was pleasant and the food was delicious. Probably one of the best meals we had while in Whitefish.

We were warmly welcomed and now under new ownership Cooper's promises a new menu with some "old" German favorites. Dan, the new owner with a long history in the wine and restaurant Industry knows his wines. The steak, salmon, meatloaf wrapped in bacon and huge chicken cordon bleu entrees were all delicious. The food is well prepared and we are... More

Started raining and we went into the first place. We were not sorry at all. Relaxing and interesting feel to the place. Great no fuss service and good food. Interesting local ice cold beer, whats not to like!

We stopped at Cooper's for a rainy day lunch and were very pleased. We started with the smoked trout appetizer which was very tasty. My wife had the black bean soup which was great on a cool, rainy day. I had the manchego burger which was a real treat. The service and ambiance were both very welcoming; our server took... More
