Im local to the area and am all about supporting the local smalls guys. That said Ive been there 3 times all of which were horrible. The first time there was a really loud man working there that decided he would start talking crap to a group of police officers. The guy turned out to be the owner, and his... More

How does a place like this get such great reviews??! Seriously bad food. I don't think they have changed the fryer oil in the past decade. Spare yourself.

I was a tourist staying in Whitefish to visit Glacier. The Shak is in a fast food style building, orders are placed at a counter from an overhead menu similar to McDonald's layout. In the two instances I saw the young lady behind the counter brought the food to the table. She was very friendly and patient in helping me... More

Aye in the restaurant and have also grabbed takeout from here as well. Chicken is always hot and tasty way better than any of the big franchises! Last time we ate there we had a few wing pieces that still had several feathers on them which my sister found horrifying but I didn't think was a big deal. All in... More

Chicken is cooked to order so nothing is dried out. Very friendly people. The price is very reasonable.

The food is amazing! So much flavor! Sherry was such a sweetheart too. I thought the closure of the national parks would sour my trip, but she gave me a few suggestions that were right up my alley. And beqare the spicy sauce, it seems tame at first, but it sneaks up on you and gets quite hot.

The Chikin beats the pants of the franchises! Just remember, when you order, you gets true sized pieces, not like the chain restaurant. We enjoyed it all, the hush puppies, pickles, Chikin, brisket, all of it. When we ordered the Chikin, the lady said it would be 15 minutes, and did we mind. Of course not! I will always wait... More

After a week of eating cafeteria food at the National Park, some good honest BBQ was just what we needed. Service was friendly and fast. Our pulled pork sandwiches were tasty and inexpensive. Cole slaw was good as were the French fries. If ever in town again we would return to feast on more menu choices. The price was right... More

Stopped in just after they opened up on a Sunday. Chicken was great, staff were friendly, and there was a really pleasant atmosphere. No complaints.
