Simple southern comfort food. One bite of the fried chicken instantly reminded me of my grandmother's (from Alabama) fried chicken! Simple seasonings, hot and juicy! I also love a good macaroni and cheese....this is comfort food at it's best. The whole place is nothing special to look at, but the food is true comfort food....especially if you had Southern comfort... More

The chicken was spicy and greasy. I liked the fried okra. Service was very slow! Drove by a days ago and they have closed.

My favorite thing about this place is the brisket. They have great chicken also. My 1 complaint is the size of the portions for the cost. I don't eat bread so I end up having to order an extra helping ;-) all in all it's a great place to eat.

We visited with a bunch of hockey boys. They really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Lots of choices on the menu to satisfy everyone and everything looked and tasted great. The staff worked hard to help us make sure everyone was taken care of. I would definitely eat here again.

The owner/operator of this diner is awesome - extremely friendly, and his food is excellent - especially considering he is serving creole food in Whitefish, Montana... I hear his shop is moving down the road a bit to Kallispell. Affordable food that is outstanding - enjoy!

We went to this little place while touring the area around Glacier National Park. It was hands down the best BBQ I have had in a very long time! We split a combo and had the pork and brisket, along with beans and fried okra. I was surprised at how good this place was being that it's so far geographically... More

My wife and I really enjoy BBQ and love this place. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it and I had the pork ribs. The ribs were smoked and moist, just excellent. The owners were very friendly and polite. The place has a old back woods feel and is fun. Well worth the drive for us to come... More

We were very impressed with the BBq shack. We stopped by the other evening and had a great experience. Fresh blackened fish and awesome fresh BBQ brisket. This is not fine dining nor do they try to be. Just good food period.
