We ate here three times during our stay, twice in the lounge once in the dining, the calamari was very good although a bit pricey, we had it on both visits, it was perfectly prepared. Our burgers were good, average burgers. Breakfast average, not enough ham in the omlets, potatoes tasted like they were old or had been cooked much... More

GREAT location overlooking the lake, have a drink in the bar before supper. Had both breakfast and supper here and both were four star. Not an a-- kicker, but really good. Well worth a visit. L. J. Martin, author of ver 40 western, mystery and crime novels.

We had a great anniversary dinner. The food was excellently prepared and delicious. . Our overall experience was enhanced by Brandon our waiter. We definitely plan on returning many times in the future.

Inside the lodge there are mounted and full size animals. Bears, Moose, Birds, etc. We ordered oysters as an appetizer. They were good but a little gritty. I ordered Elk Meatballs and Elk Sliders. Read my more detailed review at http://www.redheadroadtrips.com/glacier-national-park.html

My husband and I ate at the restaurant for our anniversary and had a less than desirable experience. My husband ordered prime rib and I ordered a filet. His prime rib was brought out very cold. When we sent the food back the attitude of the wait staff changed. We now were an annoyance. Not only was the food cold... More

I went into the Boat Club for a cup of coffee, after I asked for my coffee the bartender told me I looked haggard and proceeded to tell me to go elsewhere for coffee! I was not impressed by the service and would not recommend the lodge to anyone!

This review is 2 part. #1 The restaurant - We ate breakfast one morning - which was good. I would eat there again especially since we stayed on the property. I had a breakfast burrito not on the menu but recommended per my menu questions by the waitress. #2 The bar - We were on the property for a conference... More

I had an early dinner. The server was very friendly and helpful. My meal was hot and tasty. I was left alone but was given refills. It was perfect.

You see these places all over the country. Glitzy ambiance, often with attractive surroundings, a high priced menu with gourmet pretensions. Impossible for me to object, but also impossible to fall in love with because, in the end, there ain't much soul. So you order something safe, like a steak and a Caesar, a drink or two. The meal is... More
