Pescado Blanco: Mountain Mexican KitchenThe cuisine we are creating is not like the typical Mexican fare you may have had before. We gather our culinary style from a geographical region extending from Southern Mexico to Northern Montana developing a unique mountain Mexican fusion. All of our menu items are handmade from the fresh salsas to the hand-pressed tortillas. This restaurant is about using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and blending flavors and the cultures.

unique but not out of this world.

I asked the server if I could get white corn tortillas on my dish, they were advertised just as "corn", I saw that other menu choices had white corn, she said I couldn't request white corn on my dish, then came back and said that's all they served, she didn't know. We ordered the elk chorizo... read more

My wife and I were visiting Whitefish on a weekend getaway and were looking for a nice cozy place to eat. We decided on Pescado Blanco. I wanted it to be good, it sounded really good from the reviews, but it went wrong on so many levels. Everything was fine up till we ordered. My wife got the nachos and... More

Loved the owner who talked with us at our table. Very friendly. Great food and service. Enjoyed sitting outside on their patio

Whitefish has many great restaurants, but the aptly named Pescado Blanco is one we always return to. The "Mountain Mexican Kitchen" twist means you'll find more rustic proteins like bison, duck and elk on the menu, along with abundant seafood and gluten-free options. You can't go wrong with the homemade guacamole and tortas, the salt roasted beet salad, elk chorizo... More

We were pretty excited about this restaurant. Maybe that swayed our opinion a little. Living in Fernie and being spoiled by the Mexican here, we just couldn't give this place a huge thumbs up. Its was average. Still good, but average.

Pescado Blanco is an excellent place to eat. You can see that I’ve given Pescado Blanco four stars, which in my opinion makes it very good. Read more of my rap below if you like, but you won’t be disappointed in this place. I was raised in Southern Colorado and grew up eating Mexican food when it was a cult... More

We enjoyed the cozy bar, and the fresh fish! It's necessary to make a reservation because of its size.

I enjoyed my carnitas tacos, friends who had steak thought it was bland. Home made chips and salsa good. Grande burrito was huge

We were celebrating a special friend's birthday, so the evening was special to us. The room was very live with sound so that no conversation could ever be private. That was disappointing. You could literally reach over and touch the person at the next table. The salsa was great. Chips were so-so. Mango hot sauce was great. The waitress seemed... More
