Located in downtown West Yellowstone, MT Ernie's is the place to stop for a packaged box lunch for your visit to Yellowstone National Park. Wanted sandwiches to go. Asked them to cut the sandwich into four pieces and they refused to do it. Food was good but won't go back there with service like that.

When we discovered that Kiwi's Takeaway was closed, we went to Ernie's. The fresh bread is only the first step in really excellent sandwiches.

My friend and I were going to spend the day fishing and site seeing in Yellowstone. There aren't too many places in the park to get a lunch so we asked for a recommendation for a sack lunch. We were told Ernie's was the place. There are so many choices that you would be hard pressed not to find something... More

We had breakfast - delicious and huge! We also purchased boxed lunches for our day in the park. Again, delicious and a ton of food.

Stop by Ernie's on the way in to Yellowstone to pick up some box lunches for a picnic in the park. Large sandwich, chips, apple, cookie, candy and a soft drink for under $10 and the fixing were pack on the side as to not get the sandwich soggy. I highly recommend this place for on the go. We stopped at Ernie's every morning before going to YNP. Their wraps are pretty good and not messy! :)

We were staying just down the road and went there for breakfast each morning before heading into Yellowstone. The food was great, the portions were just right, and the price was fine. They had sandwiches and pastries that looked great, although we didn't try them. The staff got to know us and were friendly. They are very efficient. We went... More

To fuel us to the transit Yellowstone Park enroute to Devil’s Tower, we stopped in Ernie’s Sandwich Shop for breakfast, as my wife had her heart set on pancakes. Since we were in an RV and parking in front of the store is at a premium, I walked a half-block down to the store to get a takeout order. The... More

Yummy homemade muffins and bear claws! Good thing they're not in our little town! Yikes. Loved stopping in here early mornings headed to Yellowstone. Yes. Recommended. Stop by.
