Kids had breakfast items, adults had dinner items. Everything was fabulous. First really fantastic meal in West Yellowstone.

First of all, the owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome. She even remembered how many were in our party when the first person walked in the door the 2nd day. They are very busy but they try to get you seated promptly, then bring a carafe of water and serve coffee to anyone that wants it, right... More

We were here 3 years ago. It was very good and we returned several times. This year we only went once. One person in our party ordered the ham sandwich. The menu said it was stacked high with ham. WRONG! He actually told the waitress that he had received someone else's meal. The sandwich might have had 2 thin slices... More

Running Bear is exactly what you would expect from a small town pancake joint: big portions, friendly service and reasonable prices. We ate here on the fourth of July and then again. I had an amazing omelette and a chocolate chip pancake (WARNING: Big portions!). A singular pancake is about the size of a dinner plate. The next day I... More

Well I thought at first the prices were a little high for bacon and eggs with a side of hash browns. And then the plates came....Wow. I'm not sure how 2 eggs bacon hash browns and toast can fill up a HUGE platter but they serve it that way and it does fill you up. And it was great. I... More

We had about a 15 minute wait for breakfast - a good sign that good food is to come. Food was very good and huge portions. I recommend only ordering 2 pancakes - I ordered 3 and barely made it half way in! They bring out 2 different types of syrup - warm! They leave the coffee pot on the... More

Had breakfast there this past week. I had the Ham and eggs and my wife had the Canadian bacon and eggs. Overall, for a breakfast place, the food was excellent. Easily my favorite breakfast place in the area. Also, our waitress and the manager were both attentive and very friendly. I would make it a don't miss if you're in... More

Great place for breakfast; my husband ordered eggs and bacon which were just as he likes them. I ordered the buckwheat pancakes; soooo delicious. I also loved the boysenberry sirup. Very nice and attentive waitress. If we would live in West Yellowstone, this would be our breakfast place.

We had a fantastic visit here! The pancakes with strawberries on top were a big hit with my sons. The breakfast burrito was delicious. I had bacon and eggs with a side of country gravy and it was wonderful I had to take some back to the cabin it was so big. The service was wonderful and location easy to... More

We are a family of 5 and enjoyed our breakfast. Large portions, great coffee selections, and they have a varied menu. We would go back.
