Good variety of food, good service, & not crowded

After a day of exploring Yellowstone, we had dinner at The Branch - it was the restaurant nearest our hotel. Unlike many restaurants in W. Yellowstone during the summer, there was no wait. Our waiter was great. The food was good, basic, and reasonably priced. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was... read more

We ate dinner there and our server was Derrick. He was awesome and very friendly and informative. Great experience for dinner. Great food.

Great service from Derrick. He was hospitable without being pushy or overbearing. Ordered the full Caesar salad leaving off the capers and a beer. The portion was large and the taste was very fresh. Nice decor. Good atmosphere. Would recommend.

We visited here twice during our visit to west yellowstone. I had the river copper salmon with quinoa which was really nice and then a burger on our second visit. I couldn't fault either. The service was spot on and we were well looked after. Also they have a great selection of craft beers and a happy hour from 5pm... More

Before dining, don't miss the spectacular railroad car displayed just outside the restaurant. It was well worth a walk-through. We read the mixed reviews and chose dinner here because of the location (close to our hotel) and the beer selection. Our service was friendly and timely, the food served hot, and all our selections were very good. Getting the freshly-made... More

we had to wait for the room and we took a lunch also. With the lunch they served chips. In the evening we took a beer but because it was after 9.00 pm the kitchen was closed and you could not get peanuts or chips!!!!!

The burgers and fresh made potato chips were wonderful. The Branch salad with fresh fried onion bits was lovely. However, the Bison stroganoff was AMAZING! The poor reviews kept us from going until we were given free vouchers. The service was very poor, but the food was so wonderful we went again on our own dime. The second time the... More

Waitress acted like she preferred not to wait on us and kept avoiding us. Our first time there so she didn't know us. Food is way too eclectic for our tastes and VERY pricey. It is not that nice a hotel for the prices charged.

I ate in the bar area and had the Cherry Cola barbecue burger which I'd recommend. I was very happy they had a small selection of craft beers (considered a large selection of beers for the area). I wasn't happy with the breakfast I had in the restaurant area.
