Lots of wait staff, but they'll need better cooks

Ordered a bison burger, medium. Took a while to show up to my table, and was well done and dried out. So sad. A very sketchy looking cook was out running his hands through the salad bar -- kind of scary. Wait staff was very friendly, but I suspect part of the reason my burger took so long to... read more

Great local restaurant. Food was piping hot, varied menu which satisfied a picky family. Wait staff attentive and friendly.

We ate here 4 times because breakfast was included with our hotel room. After waiting nearly 60 minutes to be seated at dinner the first night, it took another 45 minutes for 5 of our 6 to be served. They forgot the sixth order until we reminded them. It showed up as the other 5 were finishing their meals. Food... More

We were in town for a few days and ate someplace different every day - the menu selection here was limited and portions were average but the food was good. Wait staff was friendly but didn't pay a lot of attention to detail - drinks were empty and had to ask for refills.

We had dinner here; simple safe choices: chicken breast burger (fresh) substituted with smashed potatoes for the french fries; burger cooked medium with french fries. Ample servings. THE SMALLEST MARTINIS EVER MADE: we ordered two gin martinis--they were served in a thimble sized martini glass and the olives tasted like they'd been in brine for a decade. However, the overall experience... Food was just OK. Prices were high. Locals seemed to think it was one of the better restaurants in town.

We called ahead were told to expect a wait of 5 minutes. We arrived and waited almost 20. When we were seated, the glasses in the table were not clean. It took 30 minutes for members of our party to receive silverware. We waited almost an hour for our food. The food was decent, but it was not a good... More

My group had the opportunity to dine one time at the Three Bears during our 5 night stay in West Yellowstone. The menu was very good. It included everything you would expect in western style menu. I enjoyed a nice hamburger with Idaho french fries, and the broasted chicken was also very good. The service were good, and the decor... More

We had both breakfast and dinner at the Three Bear Restaurant. The restaurant handles a large volume of customers at both of these meals. Both due to popularity and limited other choices in West Yellowstone. You can order strictly from the menu or take advantage of a salad bar for example. We found breakfast service to be very prompt which... More
