Off the beaten track but worth looking for

This place is north of town at the airport. I flew in around lunch time and had a great meal sitting in the sun on their little patio. My lobster roll was delicious and after my husband had a bite, declared we would be back. So a few days later on a drizzly afternoon we had lunch inside near the... read more

This is a good place to hang out and have a snack or lunch while you wait for your plane. Kate was very helpful to us about how the TSA worked in this small airport and was a great waitperson when it came time to eat. Thanks, Kate!

When we arrived @ the airport, the cafe was closed, and it didn't look too interesting. On our way back after a week, we had an hour to kill and so entered the cafe. The ambiance is standard cafe - nothing fancy. But...the food....After over a week of buffalo, bison, greasy fare, uncooked tenders (barring a few restaurants, most were... More

I read about the Smokejumper on Tripadvisor so we thought we would give it a try for breakfast one morning. When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and attentive during the meal. The food quality was very good and there were a number of interesting dishes available. We should have had... More

Dinner was great. Try all of the specialties including the Rocky Mountain Oysters and Lobster Bisque. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our lunch. My mom had the tuna melt and loved it. My kids loved their burgers. Fries were basic but good. The sandwich buns were great. Prices were decent and we were able to get away from the crowds of West Yellowstone.

We stopped at several places in West Yellowstone in search of breakfast, but most were either too busy or didn't look all that great. We were so glad to find the Smokejumper Cafe listed on TripAdvisor. The food was delicious and all homemade! The bomb breakfast burrito really was the bomb and the English muffin for the eggs Benedict was... More

Unfortunately, it closes at 6pm, but if you don't mind eating early will have a nice dinner. (also open for breakfast and lunch). Owner/Chef's food is fresh and well prepared - homemade desserts, too. Loved the steak sandwich. Good service. Try it out!

We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised! We had a tuna melt and a chicken bacon ranch. Wonderful fresh food and great service.

Who knew that the best place to eat in this town would be at the airport. Best chicken sandwiches in town. Beer. Excellent service. If only we have known about this place earlier, we would have come here sooner. Highly recommended.
