Good food! A must in W. Yellowstone!

I was surprised how thin the restaurant options were in West Yellowstone. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fare here. Is you spend a night here, this is the best. If you spend two nights here, go back and order what you didn't have the first trip! The paella was to die for and all the... read more

Very nice experience. We did not expect this type of food in West Yellowstone. We were very pleasantly surprised. Wide selection on the menu. The place reminded me some restaurants in Madrid. Nice service as well.

Food in the Yellowstone area--and we stayed all around the park--is pretty mediocre and the menus are pretty repetitious (no one is there for the food, so mostly we didn't mind), but it was great to eat at this Tapas bar for both variety and quality. We ate there twice and really enjoyed it. Service was good as were the... More

We had dinner at Café Madriz during our week long stay in West Yellowstone. We had seen the positive reviews and having enjoyed tapas at other places, so we were anxious to try this place. We had reviewed the menu in advance and decided if the Paella was available the night we visited we would have that instead of tapas.... More

Spanish tapas restaurant that is as good as any tapas place you will find anywhere. Not the type of restaurant you expect to find in a tourist place. Only open from April to mid September.

Had the "onion" soup and gazpacho first. Onion soup was the best dish overall. Still, not an onion soup like you'd imagine. Not super oniony. Gazpacho literally tasted like a poor, cold salsa from a bad Mexican restaurant. Had a dish with tuna on top of a small slice of tomato with two criss-cross pieces of asparagus stalk. Tasted like... The four of us ordered five plates of tapas and two bowls of gazpacho. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. I would definitely return.

We went based on Trip Advisor recommendations and wanted a special dinner for a birthday dinner. We shared a variety of tapas and while the portions were plentiful overall just average in taste. The shrimp and meatballs dishes had the most flavor. Staff was friendly and suggested what tapas would make a nice dinner.

Friends told me this was a great place so I saved it for my anniversary. We loved the tasty food and unusual choices. Much different than the standard fare in the tourist town of West Yellowstone. We ordered about 4 items and shared them among three people. Everything was great. The wine list was out of the ordinary too with... More

Thanks to Tripadvisor for the recommendation. The restaurant had three areas to dine and was able to handle the large groups that came to enjoy dinner. Our waitress was so very pleasant. She conversed with us and had a lovely smile. The tapas we ordered were much larger than usual and were very good. The Sangria had a hint of... More
