Not really a 'lounge'

But there is a bar in the dining room. Didn't bother us, but if it will you, suggest you look elsewhere. Hubs had trout with wild rice, I had ribs with scalloped potatoes. All was good, but the potatoes were outstanding. A nice wine and speciality drink list. Pleasant service. Perhaps not the... read more

We wanted somewhere to try bison and settled on this place. A warning for families: obviously with the name Lounge there is alcohol involved, but the bar itself is right next to the tables, so our kids got to listen to a buzzed old guy hit on a drunk younger lady for about an hour until he finally left with... We decided to try Madison Crossing based on the menu we found on their website. We were not disappointed but not overly impressed either. Service was average, food was average; I had the lemon crusted trout and it was kind of bland. What can I say except the restaurant was so-so.

Heard this place was good so we were pleasantly surprised to walk in as a group of 5 and get a table with no hassle. If you're tired of the usual fare (ribs, nachos etc) this place can provide you with a lovely range of adventurous and delicious dishes. Well worth a visit, though for us Cafe Madriz is still... Me and my dad had 3 nights in west Yellowstone and because of trip adviser reviews went to this restaurant. Would definitely recommend!! Lovely friendly service. Great wine! I ordered bison burger that had this divine bacon marmalade on it and my dad had the ribs. We both loved our meals and had dessert despite being so full!! I wanted... More

wish I had found this place earlier. Ordered a medium done pork chop. Server asks, "How is it?", so I tell her it's over-cooked, and she insists on walking it back to the kitchen. Maybe 10 minutes later, the chef is at my table apologizing for her line cook, because the chop is over cooked again, and they're going to... More

Made a reservation over a week in advance and arrived to find no table available. We took a seat at the bar where Jake provided fine service and advice on menu and beverages. The hostess had second thoughts and switched us to a table, but we kept the barkeep who continued to provide great service. The bison and grilled trout... More

Tasty bison nachos, bison burger w/bacon marmalade, angus burger w/huckleberry. Great dining experience! The place is small and fills up quickly so don't hesitate to try this great place!

After reading reviews for restaurants in West Yellowstone, we decided to go to Madison Crossing. We ordered the bison sirloin and salmon. Both were cooked as ordered. Another night we tried 2 other places that had long waits so we went back. This time for another bison sirloin and Tuna. Again, we enjoyed everything. Service was excellent.

My husband had the Trout and I had the Seafood Cake along with the Lobster Bisque. Also had a really good craft cocktail. It was a busy Friday nite, so we waited about 25 minutes for a table. But the food was worth the wait. Our service was good once we were seated, so no complaints. Would definitely recommend this... More
