We visited there based on the reviews here and were disappointed. We ordered beef fajitas and they said they were out of beef. So we ordered chicken - also out. Then we ordered Carne Asada - out of that too. How can a Mexican restaurant be out of these staples?? We ended up ordering burritos and a chicken chimichanga. The... More

I just got through eating a take out order from this place. The beans and rice were as good as you would find in any grandma's cocina in my home town of San Antonio. Now that is a compliment. Very extensive taco and enchilada menu. I got the traditional Mexican red, white and green. Now I know this isn't tex-mex... More

Taqueria Las Palmitas, commonly known as "the Taco Bus" is a favorite of mine. First, the whole thing is actually in a school bus! the seats have been removed and replaced with a sizable kitchen (considering its in a bus) and benches on the sides, facing the windows. It has a wonderful vibe. Whenever I'm in West for an evening,... More

Several locals told us to try the taco bus for mexican food. It was good, but average. We had the big burrito which was the special of the night. Again, nothing wrong with it - just nothing that completely "wow-ed" us either. You order inside the bus, and then can either sit outside at picnic tables or take it to-go.

The food was great and the bus was a cool idea. However the girl at the counter couldn't speak good English. She didn't understand us. But she got someone who helped her. I probably would go back. It was pretty good.

Pops and I were on a fly fishing trip and hit the Taco Bus everyday. Amazing, authentic, well priced for West Yellowstone (we split the 6 taco platter everyday for $9.99). I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I split a taco platter with half beef and half chicken tacos. Wish we had gotten all beef tacos. They were amazing!!And we loved the spicy carrots that accompanied the tacos. My husband was trying to figure how to replicate them at home. The chicken tacos were a bit bland for our taste buds, as was the... More

The guy running it is from Mexico and you can tell it's the real deal. The food is flavorful and authentic. If you are looking for texmex, this may not satisfy you but give it a try still....

We saw the bus as we walked around town, but after checking TripAdvisor for places to eat we went back and stopped in. Loved it! The tacos are of the "street taco" style - smaller and simple. I tried the pork enchildas with verde sauce and really enjoyed it. We sat inside the bus which was great fun as well.... More

Don't let the looks deceive you! Get on the bus! You wont be disappointed! Great Mexican food fast and the place is spotless, you can see right into the kitchen.
