Delightful Shop

During our week-long stay in W. Yellowstone we frequented this quaint little shop. We browsed the books and uniquely displayed gift items, made some purchases now and then and enjoyed pastries and delicious coffee and hot chocolate. It was one of our favorite stops in town!

The coffee shop had delicious cookies and hot chocolate. My granddaughter chose several books and I found some wonderful books on the region that I would not have found in my local bookstore. The shop was decorated in a fun and homey way that made browsing more entertaining.

Their blue berry scones are extremely good, moist, low sugar, full of berries. The pastry w/ cream cheese, cherry and blueberry is also very nice. Not so impressed by the cinnamon bun, as it tastes mainly sugar without much cinnamon. The espresso is solid, but a bit bitterer and less flavorful than that of Freeheel and Wheel. On the other... We have had a cabin nearby and visited West Yellowstone literally hundreds of times. Most times we make time for a trip to the Book Peddler. The owners always stock books of great interest - both to local history and color seekers, and to any genre of readers. Having the coffee shop is a bonus -- the place smells amazing.... More

Small coffee shop in back of the Book Peddler. We stopped for lunch after snowshoeing in Yellowstone. Outstanding soups. My wife have the "pot pie" soup and I had the clam chowder. Wow, both of these were excellent. You can tell these were homemade, not out of the can. And the bread that comes with it was warm, just out... More

If you are in West Yellowstone you must visit this little coffee shop, hidden at the back of a great bookstore. It sells delicious coffee and home-made baking to die for!! We had the delicious blueberry muffins. The warmth of the customer service was exceptional. Unfortunately, we only discovered this hidden gem the day before we left the area. We... More

Every time we visit West Yellowstone we stop here more than once to get hot chocolate. I buy a book every trip because they have a great selection of Western history and fiction. The decor is cute and the service is always great. This year they talked us into a pumpkin spice cinnamon roll and it was heavenly!

Although the little coffee shop in the back is not the main feature of this wonderful little book and decor store, the coffee is excellent. The service is pleasant, we were greeted with a smile and warmth when we arrived. On the first day we were there, one member of our party had one of the cinnamon rolls. The other... More

Stopped in early in the morning on our way out of Yellowstone NP. Advertised opening time was 8 am but we were there a little before that and were welcomed warmly. We were then served a mocha and a cappuccino which were easily the best we had in our entire 3 week road trip. Took away a couple of delicious... More

We stopped by this store just to have a glimpse of it on the way home from YNP. When first walked in, it was just a cozy little book store but as you walked further in, you will find a coffee shop and their home made coffees were just what we needed for. pretty nice and quiet and you can... More
