My wife, son and I stopped in today for the bison burgers and chips. I'll tell you that those were the best and biggest burgers that we have had on our trip. The owner is kick to talk to. Yes it is a small place but did you come for the food or atmosphere? Being a small business owner with my... More

This little place is worth a stop at. It's a small restaurant - seating maybe 15 people - and easy to pass by. The owner is from New Zealand and interesting to talk to - if she has time as she is the chief cook, bottle washer and sometimes server. We had the burgers with chips (home cut Delicious french... Bison burger so good I didn't need ketchup, just for the "chips" (fries). And the owner is a real card (mean that in a good sense).

Our annual trip to Yellowstone would not be complete without a visit to Kiwiz. This year, the owner Allie seemed a bit more mellow than in the past; she had two helpers waiting tables, so maybe that has lowered her stress level. Burgers were great as usual, and her jalapeño burger is a work of art. While the calm atmosphere... More

We were excited to try this place based on the reviews here. When we drove up at about 7:00pm on a weeknight the week of July 4th, it appeared to be open. The door was open and a woman was chatting with someone in the parking lot. My wife hopped out to make sure the place was open and the... More

This small, hole-in-the wall place is located off the main road but a short walk from most hotels in this small town. There is no ambiance but the hamburgers are great. There are other items on the menu but the hamburgers are freshly made while some items are frozen and then deep fried or otherwise prepared. The owner, a native... More

This is my favorite place to eat in West Yellowstone. Best burgers in town by a long shot, but don't bother if you are in a hurry. Good food takes time, and often times the owner is working alone and will be your waitress, cook, and cashier. Not the best place for families with children unless the little ones have... More

Great Bison burger, just yummy. Great grilled cheese sandwich. Very interesting owner/cook. Cute, cozy ambiance. Perfect spot to offset all those self-cooked meals while camping!

If we didn't live 800 miles away, we would come here for lunch twice a week! The bison burgers were fantastic, the pulled-pork sandwiches were great, homemade coleslaw--super. Just can't say enough good things about the restaurant. Allison was great, my kids just loved her. I would absolutely but this on your must stop list if you are in West... More
