Had a enjoyable breakfast before going into the park. Our waitress (originally from Kansas) was wonderful. The food was excellent and we didn't think overpriced based upon the quality and portions. The cabin is rustic and very historical.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Billings airport to go home after spending a week in Yellowstone. The food was great and the portions were huge. I ordered eggs and sausage and the sausage patty looked like a hamburger and my daughter got a side of ham which was huge. My wife wanted to try the pumkin... More

We stopped by for lunch on our way home back East from Yellowstone. It had a great homey feel. It was very nicely maintained. The server was gracious. The food was amazing! The burrito was flavorful and not heavy. The tomato soup was fresh and tangy. The burger and potatoes were delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every bite of food. It... More

The steaks for dinner are excellent. Great service! We stayed next door and at 6 a.m. we went over for coffee and they weren't open yet but seen us outside and invited us on in to sit and have coffee while they got ready to open. Then the breakfast was fantastic! Well priced and large portions! Very nice people!

We stayed here for 3 nights during our recent trip to Yellowstone and we had wonderful experience. The location is the best, just couple of miles form the northeastern entrance and the Lamar Valley, which is called America's Serengeti. The town of Silver Gate is so nice and quiet that I felt it much better than staying inside the park.... More

Really happy to find this gem after a long day hiking in the summer sun in Yellowstone. Generous portions, open relatively late -- we didn't arrive until 9 and left a little after 10 -- and great service. Try the locally caught trout and the pumpkin bread with huckleberry ice cream.

What a great little place! We never thought we could find a restaurant in such a remote location with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Everything was so delicious and very tasty. My husband had the trout which was recommended as a house favorite. He had never had trout deboned and prepared in that fashion. It was so yummy! The meals came... More

We recently took a trip to Yellowstone National Park and discovered the Log Cabin Cafe quite by accident, just outside the north-east gate to the park at Silver Gate. Normally when I travel to the United States, I struggle with the huge portions of food and the extreme over-processing of the ingredients. I often walk away from restaurants feeling ill.... More

This place was recommended to us by someone working at the gift shop at the Bozeman Airport. I never would have found this place and was very happy with our choice. The ambience is so quaint and rustic. We enjoyed our food and would recommend this one-of-a-kind restaurant for the great memories. We only had the quesadilla and a salad,... More
