Steak house indeed

There are three choices on the menu. Steak, a better steak and a ground up steak. Oh, yeah - and they're huge. My wife and I split one (of the better) steak and there was plenty. I think the sheer size of the meat makes it harder to cook it properly so no wonder it was a bit chewy at... read more

I was expecting more of a selection of steakhouse items on the menu but you only have the choice of sirloin, better sirloin or chopped sirloin. We shared the "better sirloin" which was very tender for sirloin and cooked to our liking. The salad consisted of some iceberg lettuce with "house dressing" and 3 grape tomatoes. Side dish of baked... More

We camped at Salmon Lake State Park after a long drive and decided to head up to Seeley Lake for dinner. We were tired and hungry, and it was the only place in town still open for dinner that wasn't a bar. We were seated by a man in a suit who slammed down a large sign next to our... More

We will remember this as the one mistake we made in our week in Montana. I had driven through Seeley Lake on the way from Helena to Whitefish and thought it looked like a good midway point for the drive home. At almost 9 on Sunday night, not much else in Seeley Lake looked open. We should have gotten burgers... More

Went here for a family gathering celebrating an anniversary. We did not know the only choices on the menu were steak. Most really enjoyed their steak-huge portions. No choice on sides but plenty of them. Like that you can share a meal for a lot less cost. Server and carver were quite busy.

Lindeys has a great staff, fabulous view, but be prepared because it is steak, better than prime steak, or chopped steak. There is no choice of the sides or salad dressing. Love the food. I would travel the 8 hours just for dinner there. The potatoes are the best, and they have a steak share, which is perfect for me,... More

I've eaten at Lindey's for over 30 years and the steaks are absolutely the best! Couples can split an order and they don't serve anything but steak! So, that makes them experts! Great beer and wine selection too. Enjoy!

We had lunch on day one in Seeley Lake at Lindey's and we had burgers outside by the lake. A better burger you will not find. On day two we had one of Lindey's special sirloins and split it between the two of us. The food was to die for. Even splitting it we could not eat it all. But... More

The menu is simple _ Prime steak - three variations. We went with the top choice and split. It was a good steak! No room for dessert! : (
