This is a terrific place. It's a homey, old-fashioned place with very good homemade food. In addition to the famous pies, they have very good simple comfort food at very reasonable prices. We loved the park cafe so much we ate their three times during our stay in Glacier! I got their home made veggie burger which was outstanding. We ate breakfast here once- excellent food, prepared as requested, large portions. We bought coffe and pie to go another time- delicious. (We did not want to wait for a table.) Decent enough food, but i can't understand all the accolades. Burgers were ok, nothing extraordinary at all. Service was pretty slow. For a vegetarian the tofu pesto sandwich melts in your mouth. Leave room for pie, order it first they run out. more

Just returned from several days in and around Glacier. The Park Cafe was a highlight of the trip. My wife and I had lunch there twice and dinner once. We tried something different every time and everthing was excellent. Yes, the pies are also great. Expect a wait, but it is worth it. more

Breakfast at the Park Café in St. Mary was a treat. The café serves local meats and is justifiably famous for its homemade pies. Everything we tried was delicious. Take a piece of pie with you for lunch; we did and it lived up to the hype. Expect a short wait for a table as this place is very popular. more
