The décor of this "home-made food" restaurant is old-timey. It is one of the oldest eateries in Red Lodge and it has managed to keep up with the times. The first time I ate there, with a friend, while our wives were at a conference, I had the special: ham salad sandwich and a cup of split pea soup. I... More

We took the Beartooth Highway Scenic Drive to Redlodge from Cody and then back to Silvergate. The drive took us a long time because we kept stopping on this beautiful drive. We were hungry by the time of our arrival and I had read about The Red Lodge Cafe on trip advisor. It was on our list for lunch, we... More

We always try to stop into the Red Lodge Cafe when we are in Red Lodge for the weekend. Today we had coffee- hot and tasty, bacon- cooked just right, and a blueberry pancake for each of us. We were seated quickly for a late Saturday morning and coffee was poured. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. I know some... More

This place was dated inside. Food was ok, but nothing special. Prices decent. The beef barley soup was tasty.

We were all very happy with the food that we ordered. The Chicken Fried steaks were just hugh and so reasonably priced. We would definitely eat there again if we were in that area again.

The 3 stars are for the food, the waitress suggested we take our 5 top to the bar side. The bartender seemed annoyed and had a bad attitude. Verbally stated her annoyance multiple times to us. She told us her cooks would be mad that we ordered food from her. First time I've ever left $0 for a tip.

Great place to get breakfast with the family, you don't see too many mom and pop restaurants left anymore so that added to the experience. Everyone seemed like a small family. Great value and down home cooking.

We had breakfast on our last day. It was exactly as expected for a small cafe. Good food, but portions were way too big. The waitress was very friendly and seemed unaffected by the crowds of people that showed up to eat.

My husband and I live here in Red Lodge and we love the food. Favorite is the chicken fried steak and liver and onions along with great hamburgers!

We ate there for breakfast which is thankfully served all day. I had the steak and eggs, medium rare, was just a little too rare in some spots, but was very good. They give you a good amount of food for the price. Our waitress did a great job and was very friendly! Cool historic building and awesome murals inside!
