It's always a hit or miss proposition to find a good place to eat when traveling and sometimes not judging a book by it's cover does pay dividends. Such is the case with Cafe Regis in Red Lodge, MT. It's an unassuming building, which doesn't exactly say "eat here" but then you see all the cars lining the streets and... More

Best place for breakfast in Red Lodge. Try the "Number 1, Double, with the works! Friendly staff. Busy place so it's best to not be in a hurry if you're there on a busy/holiday weekend.

Sometimes a little crowded, but hang in there, it's worth the wait!! There are gardens where their food is raised, the owner strives for the freshest food. Great specials...a perfect local hangout.

I have celiac disease, so I research places I can eat before we travel. This place is a gem--the owner understands gluten free and vegan cooking, and they take care to not cross-contaminate your food. They have separate skillets, etc. The food was awesome. My husband, who is not gluten free, loved his meal. We ate breakfast here. Love that... More

Tucked away off the main street, we went back again on our second day. Just about any kind of breakfast food you want, all of it awesome. Like eating in a general store with your best friends. I could make a habit of this ...

The food was pretty good, but the potatoes were kind of lacking in seasoning. The service was friendly but VERY slow.

We were visiting Red Lodge with friends who have a vacation home there and had breakfast at the Cafe Regis. What a delightful restaurant and the food is delicious! Service is prompt and friendly. What more can you ask for? We highly recommend the Cafe Regis!

You have to eat breakfast here. Everything from fresh fruit/yoghurt/granola to full cooked; and I was even lured into pancakes - delicious with whipped cream and maple syrup - and I never eat pancakes! Relaxed, homey, kitchen-style atmosphere - day-old baked goods on sale are perfect pocket snacks for skiing. In three days we did not feel the need to... More

Since we had read the reviews, we felt that this breakfast would be 'over the top' and I have to say that we were somewhat disappointed. The coffee was very good and the food was ok, just not anything exceptional. The service was very good, however, and the wait staff was friendly and helpful.
