I loved this place but when we were there, but I didn't see the dogs! I was looking forward to the dogs and was highly amused by the reviewer who complained. When I read that silly review is when I made plans to visit and glad I did. I'll be back later this month and will have beer, food and... More

My Husband loves the Bent Nail Ale the best, but try any of their beers, you'll be pleasantly surprised!! Sandwiches were great as well!!

Great place to drink some beer, and good beer at that! Had a sandwich which was pretty good, which is all they had was sandwiches. It leaves room for beer I guess.

I give this place a 5! I love the beer and the value is a plus. The seasonal beers and the year round selection are varied. Try the sampler tray for a great variety. The sandwiches are amazing and the service is top notch. Just passing through, but if I'm ever in Montaba again I would go out of my... More

My husband and I went here for lunch on a recent trip to Red Lodge and we both decided it was our favorite restaurant of the trip. I am pregnant so I can't vouch for the beer but my husband (a home-brewer and beer connoisseur) loved both of the brews he ordered. Also, our sandwiches were delicious! The atmosphere in... More

I'm a bit of a beer snob, pour beer at the Great American Beer Festival, and enjoy visiting breweries wherever I travel. Of course everyone's beer tastes vary but I really enjoyed the beer at Red Lodge Ales (which is how Tripadvisor really should list this attraction). They must be doing something right as they've been around 15 years and... More

We had lunch here, food was good, service was good, but the atmosphere was terrible. Don't hate kids or anything but there were about as many kids as adults, and this was a bar.

As a beer aficiandado (and suffering in Las Vegas!), I will visit any local brewery. Colorado seems to have the best. If I lived in Fort Collins, I would get no work done. This unexpected surprise in Red Lodge was excellent. The IPA and Scotch Ale were superb and the patio was sublime. The food was good (not up to... More

They have great ales brewed on the premises. They also have good food, not your regular stuff. I've had things I never would have dreamed of. The Bent Nail IPA is my favorite brew.

This is our second time here. Both times the service has not been good. This time my husband was so irritated by the service. We just bought 2 growlers of beer & left, instead of hanging around and trying some different kinds that we had not had. If we didn't LOVE the Hefeweizen beer, we would not come back. The... More
