By myself on a nice summer evening. Sat outside. Good glass of wine and great service from Nikki. I'll always wonder if I just ordered the wrong thing But I agree with other comments of not lots of flavor. Had a house specialty "clam linguine in white sause". Ok but needed something. ?!? I would come back to try something... More

My wife and I were very disappointed during our visit to Ciao Mambo. We had read here how wonderful this place was, perhaps the chef had a bad night. The food was bad but the wait staff was excellent. We sent one order back and it didn't come back much better. Maybe we were spoiled by living near a big... More

Ok, the food is Ok. Does their food justify their prices? NO. It's simple pasta. They try to come off as upscale but I'm not feeling it. You still have the hippies wandering in with their birkenstocks on and shorts. Last time I checked that is not "upscale". My dad always insists on bringing us here when we come to... More

I selected Ciao Mambo based on the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor. You guys got it right! Since I was traveling solo, I didn't want to sit in a restaurant by myself, so I ordered a pizza for carry-out. The restaurant itself looks funky and slightly up-scale, but $13 for a large pizza was very reasonable. Waitress was super friendly.... More

If you don't mind listening to Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin or Tony Bennett blasting so loudly you cannot carry on a conversation with your guests then Ciao Mambo is the place for you. If you like over cooked pasta with canned based, tasteless sauces, then Ciao Mambo is the place for you.

We love Italian food and we've had a variety of tastes, but I must tell you that Ciao Mambo in Missoula, MT has the VERY BEST. The sauce was to die for! The three of us each had a different dish and there was so much food we had to take half of it home...enjoyed it the next night, too.... More

Neither upon this restaurant while looking for another. Glad we found it. Good variety, good food. Fun atmosphere and good service. Reasonable cost.

I've visited Ciao Mambo before and I've never been disappointed. Made-to-order Italian fare that's fresh and delicious. I'm partial to the eggplant parmesan, but the pizza and pasta dishes are tasty as well. Always an enjoyable experience with friendly and knowledgable servers.

Ciao Mambo is a young person's restaurant as it is loud, lively, and staffed by kids. They are kids who know what they are doing and will be onto even more successes in life. For now, they are taking this restaurant in a very good direction. House bread, Italian-- fresh, warm, light, and fully seasoned. Nice. Appetizer-- Italian Nachos. Wow,... More

We stopped in for dinner as we were passing by. The bread they brought us was to die for! Our Caesar Salad was delicious! But then, there's the spaghetti! Oh my gosh, it was the best my husband and I have ever eaten! Staff was so friendly, 2 and 3 waitress always stopping by to see what we needed. Prices... More
