Description: Chef-owned and operated, Pearl Cafe is an aptly named jewel of a restaurant serving regional cuisine with a country French accent. The massive beams and peach toned bricks of the historic warehouse provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Specialties include bison with huckleberry-zinfandel sauce, duckling with dried cherries and pomegranate sauce and beef tenderloin with port and Roquefort. Fresh fish dishes change daily and local products are used whenever possible. The menu is rounded out with a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, house made bread and a list of sinfully delicious desserts. Custom wedding and special occasion cakes are produced in the bakery as well. The restaurant serves wine and beer, with a list of 15 wines by the glass, local draft beer, a broad selection of half bottles and over 100 full bottles.

Okay, that was bad, but the Pearl is an excellent place to eat. They have a balcony. Go up there. It's a nice, quiet, intimate place. I am an economical person, so I felt the prices were expensive. If you are frequently in fine dining places, you probably would not feel that way. They have menu items for those of... More

We had a great meal and great service at The Pearl Café. The filet with brandy peppercorn sauce was delicious, and we used everything to sop up the sauce. Terrific desserts as well, and the service was prompt, efficient, and helpful, without being intrusive. Also had a terrific Malbec. Can't wait to go back.

You will never go wrong at the Pearl Cafe whether you choose beef, duck, rabbit, fish, or vegetarian. The food will always be outstanding. Pearl always has daily specials for appetizers, Charcuterie and cheese plates, soups, and main dishes as well as the items on the main menu. The wine menu is extensive and the wait staff are very knowledgeable... More

We had an outstanding dinner in this charming restaurant. The food was creative and prepared with great care. I had the delicious escargot in mushroom caps, topped with melted cheese and a bit of crunchy crumbs; and the pan-roasted halibut with two sauces (beurre muniere and a savor creme), accompanied by garlicky kale and creamy polenta. Yum! My wife had... More

We were met with a friendly greeting from the staff and shown to our upstairs table in this well presented restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful and our meals of duck breast and duck confit, cherry sauce reduction and goat cheese flan and rice was very well cooked and tasty. The meal also came with a salad starter making... More

Dined at the Pearl two nights ago for the third and last time. The first time I ate their was in 2008 and it was delicious, the second time was in 2010 and the food was very disappointing, and this last experience was disappointing. The service was decent and the food was bland. Season the food!! My partner and I... More

I have been to the Pearl on multiple occasions and their food never ceases to amaze me. They have a top notch wine list, trust me I'm hard to please. The salmon with mustard butter is amazing and I love their array of desserts. The service is phenomenal which makes the Pearl the best restaurant in Missoula, hands down.

We went here for mother's day and it was a meal we will always remember. The service was excellent, with cordial staff who were very knowledgeable about the entire menu. A beautiful facility with a great atmosphere, and the food was absolutely stunning. Salads, soups, drinks, entrees and even bread were incredible. We would have stayed for dessert if we... More
