Description: Chef-owned and operated, Pearl Cafe is an aptly named jewel of a restaurant serving regional cuisine with a country French accent. The massive beams and peach toned bricks of the historic warehouse provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Specialties include bison with huckleberry-zinfandel sauce, duckling with dried cherries and pomegranate sauce and beef tenderloin with port and Roquefort. Fresh fish dishes change daily and local products are used whenever possible. The menu is rounded out with a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, house made bread and a list of sinfully delicious desserts. Custom wedding and special occasion cakes are produced in the bakery as well. The restaurant serves wine and beer, with a list of 15 wines by the glass, local draft beer, a broad selection of half bottles and over 100 full bottles.

A group of six of us had dinner at Pearl and as always it was superb. Staff are attentive and courteous, menu selections always offer a range of difficult choices, extensive wine list and all of the little details looked after with quiet professionalism. Our group ordered everything from appetizers to dessert and main courses included steaks, seafood stew, prawns,... More

While in Missoula on a business trip I had the pleasure of dining at Pearl's. Can't wait to return someday with my husband who will absolutely love their bread. Atmosphere is romantic yet suitable for a business dinner. The bouillabaisse was perfect as was the salad and berry dessert. Very nice wine selection, too. Highly recommend Pearl's Cafe!

Pearl was recommended to us by some friends, and we were pleased with the service and food. Even though we were a bit under dressed, casual work attire, we were still treated great! The server went above and beyond, I'd elaborate but don't want to get her in trouble! The food was excellent! Even the coffee served in a metal... More

We ended our tour of Idaho and Montana with dinner at Pearl Cafe` a "store front" establishment downtown. The restaurant is handsome-exposed brick and beams. The staff is first rate-attentive and knowledgeable and the food was really good. Wife's rabbitt was tender and lightly seasoned my duck -breast with fruit sauce/ leg confit was perfectly done. Friend's filet with Port... More

Although it is unusual for a restaurant of this caliber to not be allowed to sell liquor, they do sell some amazing wines that pair quite nicely with anything you could order from their amazing and eclectic menu. The staff are super-attentive and seem genuinely glad to serve you. You are never forgotten and they seem to keep an eye... More

We thought the ceviche was excellent. The onion soup was ok but pretty standard. The entre' I had, the filet with port and roquefort was absolutely wonderful and well worth going there for. Desserts were somewhat disappointing. Nice atmosphere, and quieter if you sit upstairs.

The food was great! It was a very nice restaurant with excellent atmosphere and ambience. It was well priced. Beautiful presentation. The service could have been more attentive but we would definitely recommend it-- the locals seem to love it too!

We've been going to Pearl Cafe for years and not been disappointed. We love the interior. It's cozy and romantic. Music is subtle so you can talk without raising your voice. Service has always been spot on. Good menu choices and the food is always cooked properly with great presentation and delivered by knowledgeable servers. It's a place that has... More

Starting with the neon sign the pearl cafe needs a major interior revamp. The food was delicious and the wine menu had a few great options but the decor and ambiance was very out of date. Our server was absolutely wonderful so our experience was truly great. Don't let the look and feel of the place influence your decision to... More

Went for my birthday and friends anniversary. Great food, great wine, and great service. I want to try more things on the menu. I was told it was very expensive , but I found the prices fair. Most expensive thing on the menu was $37. (Our wines were more than our meals.) Definitely will be returning.
