Chef-owned and operated, Pearl Cafe is an aptly named jewel of a restaurant serving regional cuisine with a country French accent. The massive beams and peach toned bricks of the historic warehouse provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Specialties include bison with huckleberry-zinfandel sauce, duckling with dried cherries and pomegranate sauce and beef tenderloin with port and Roquefort. Fresh fish dishes change daily and local products are used whenever possible. The menu is rounded out with a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, house made bread and a list of sinfully delicious desserts. The restaurant serves wine and beer, with a list of 15 wines by the glass, local draft beer, a broad selection of half bottles and over 100 full bottles.

When looking for that somewhere special to go eat in Missoula this is the spot. Consistently delicious, excellent service and fine wines. Friendly, not over the top, wonderful spot for any and all occasions. Great old building adds atmosphere to this charming spot

This is a high end restaurant with French American fare. Can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is beautiful. Low light. White tablecloths. The servers are polite, not personable. We had escargot stuffed mushrooms and ginger scallops to start. I don't know how escargot can have zero taste. I don't know that it's possible, unless they really aren't snails. The scallops were okay. They were served with a much too sweet mushroom sauce. Planned to... More

We had made a reservation but decided to try and go earlier. Absolutely no problem and had a beautiful table upstairs. My husband had the provincial seafood stew and I had the halibut. Both were beautifully presented and most delicious. Ordered dessert and enjoyed it very much. My husband had had a recent surgery and, unfortunately, his stomach reacted to... More

Nice atmosphere, good wine list & excellent food! We ate here our last night in town and it did not disappoint! The french onion soup was excellent and my husband's steak was perfect (not one bite left on the plate)! We also had the special charcuterie plate which featured several types of pate including bison(!) and it too was excellent.... More

Pearl greets you at the door with a smile, offers to hang your coat and then her staff takes over to deliver one delicious meal after another. Hands down the best place in Missoula for a gourmet meal. We've been here several times at Pearl never disappoints!

Previously I posted where we had a problem with a reservation and rated the restaurant down. If I can figure out how to delete that rating I would. The Pearl is the best restaurant in Missoula. Ms Pearl is terrific and a very gracious host. Halibut was the best I've ever tasted, shared with the pub steak, outstanding!!

Located on Front Street, a stone's throw from the shops and galleries on Higgins Street, the Pearl really is a gem of a restaurant. The decor is stunning with its wood beams set against wood floors and brick walls. The menu offers a number of well prepared fish and meat dishes and the beer and wine list is superb. The... More
