This place is in the back of Charlie B's bar on Higgens, not far from the old train station. An authentic old time bar that has the authentic "feel" other places try to have. And a cast of true characters up and down the bar, some of whom who may visit too often and too long! But, march yourself to... More

Loved this little place. The Po Boys and Gumbo were tasty. We had just come from New Orleans, and it still hit the spot!

I give them an A for atmosphere and value, and a B for food, but a D for cleanliness ... I hate to see a counterperson alternate between food handling and cash handling without changing those little plastic gloves. Or maybe that's part of the atmosphere!

A very happening place. This is an authentic Montana drinking spot. They also serve food in the back. I did not eat there but many people were chowing down. Met 2 drifters outside and bought them drinks in this bar. One drifter had a cat in his jacket

Ok, it Cajun food in Montana, but they could hold their own in Louisiana. The red beans and rice was, excellent and the roll was as tasty as any I have had in NO. It's inside Charlie B's bar, but that just adds to atmosphere. Both places should,be on anyone's visit to Missoula.

To find this place you have to walk to the back of Charley B's bar which is old, smokey, and always a source of interesting characters. The walk it worth it! The tiny kitchen cranks out some authentic, tasty Cajun/creole dishes. Call ahead for take out and find a beautiful spot in Missoula to enjoy. Love the gumbolaya and po... More

This is a place the locals go. We saw both rural Montana types and college students. Has a cajun flavor to the food. The portions are big. I eat a fair amount, and struggled to finish it. The people working there are very friendly. The quality is good - better than you'd expect for bar food - not gourmet. Looks... More

Cajun food in Missoula, Montana? We had to check it out... Turns out this place is a food window in the back of a bar, past the pool tables and rows of tables packed with locals. You order you food, take a seat in the bar, order a beer and wait for them to bring your food. I've eaten my... More

The Dinosaur is in the back of a great bar. Don't worry it, it isn't rough and Missoula accomodates all types. The oyster poor boy is amazing - huge sandwich. The gumbo is also quite good. Great fries and onion rings. Amazingly, once you order they will find you no matter where you sit.
