If you have only one day in Missoula

We came to Missoula for my daughter to visit the University of Montana as a prospective student. We asked the tour guide to tell us what she would recommend for people with one day in Missoula, and she recommended Tamarack. She did not steer us wrong! The food was really great, they did a... read more

We went with a group of freinds for Sunday brunch. I have had some good food in Missoula, but this was outstanding! There was a huge variety of creative dishes and drinks. Everything was fresh and interesting. There is a Mohito, Ceaser and Bloody Mary buffet in the basement as well. I had a house made Ceaser and it was... More

You can go casual or dressed up. Many options, as it is a bar, brewery and restaurant. I highly recommend the Nachos, but go with friends, it's huge. Buffalo steaks are a great choice as well.

Ate here driving across country, Halloween night. People were having fun. The beers are very good, the food was standard brewpub fare.

After reading the reviews, on our last trip to Missoula, we stopped in for dinner. The food's great and serving size??? someone should have warned us they were huge. We did not finish the appetizer. I took my dinner home which was great the next day. Wine is kind of expensive for the 2-3 oz they give you. (my only... More

We have eaten here a number of times, and the beer is good, but happy hour NEVER includes wine. The service is usually okay, not bad, not great. The food is consistently good. Good pizza! Good burgers as well. The wi-fi is a joke. They have one that shows a strong signal, but claim that is for management only, and can... More

Stopped and had lunch here on Sunday. Lots of TVs and football going, which was nice. We ate and drank at the bar. Good selection of craft beer to choose from and the beer was quite good. I wasn't very impressed with our lunch entrees though. The wife had a buffalo burger that was overlooked and dry and I had... More

Delicious, fun, welcoming ...a perfect casual dinner. The beers were fabulous, and the food was excellent. The staff was delightful, professional and friendly. Definitely a "next time we're in Missoula..."

Very popular brew pub. Can be hard to get a table on a Friday or Saturday night when the young crowd besieges the place.Typical pub fare but good if you like that sort. Beer is from the home brewery in lakeside about 90 mile north of Missoula. They also serve a good assortment of beers from other local breweries. Service... More

The beer isn't the greatest that Missoula has to offer, but Tamnarack is by far the best option for those looking for a decent beer and a good meal.
