Nothing but attitude just trying to get a cup of coffee, no reason to go back. Went in on a Sunday afternoon and there was a long line. No problem, we were queued up and there was a big sign saying “Line Starts Here”. I get to the register and tell her I want a double 12 ounce latte and... More

Whenever I visit Missoula, I start the day with a Breakfast Bagel at Break Espresso. It has ham and cheese baked in it. If you are not a bagel person, try any of their baked goods. They have a bake shop in back. Great coffee and service too.

The Break Espresso is simply a great place to have a good cup of coffee and something to munch on while surfing the net or studying. It is a wonderful spot right smack in the middle of downtown Missoula. The fare is simple but everything is cooked on the premises and is always delicious. I would highly recommend the coffee... We always stop at the break when we visit my brother and his family in Missoula. The strawberry rhubarb pie is a favorite. We each try to order something different so we can share. ;). I love the atmosphere and downtown location too. The Break is a must on your list of things to do in Missoula!

I loved the one night I showed up for coffee with my brother, and there was a live jazz band from the U playing the in corner! I would love more of that sort of scene to hang out in in the evenings. I have been to the Break several times for social chats, for getting work done when I... More

We just happened to duck in on a chilly day - neat atmosphere, great service, good coffee but the triple berry pie was unreal. Will be back. Bathrooms could use a deep clean, but not enough to lower this places review...

We were on our way out of town and had a very long drive ahead of us, so we stopped here for coffee and a couple of treats for the road. The coffee was wonderful and baked goods very tasty. Helped get us going on this, the second day of our three week road trip.

Me and a couple friends were really craving some delicious coffee in the morning so we rolled on in. I was impressed with the feel. Awesome building. Looked real nice. I got the worst Mexican mocha I've ever had in my life there. It was very chalky. When I say the worst I mean I couldn't even drink it bad.... More

I have never been disappointed at Break Espresso, and have been in several times. Their baked goods are phenomenal (the pumpkin gingerbread muffin, chocolate chip banana bread, cinnamon rolls and caramel pecan rolls are all absolutely amazing) and the coffee is great too. Iced coffee, lattes, black, it's all extremely high quality and delicious. Plus, the staff are always friendly,... More
