We stopped in for lunch. You order at the counter and the make them to your specifications: lettuce or cabbage, mild or spicy salsa, etc. They fix them wrapped in foil "boats" so that they are not so messy to eat. I had the fish, veggie and pork tacos and they were all delicious. The pork was the spiciest of the... More

We eat at El Diablo once a month or so, sometimes much more often, and it's one of our favorite places in Missoula. The previous review compares El Diablo to Chipotle, a national chain, but this is much, much better than any of the Chipotle outlets I've ever been to. This is fresh, creative, delicious food and a friendly place.... More

This restaurant is listed as a Mexican Restaurant but it isn't even close. Not the authentic atmosphere, nor the food. What you get is a Chipotle styled burrito or tacos. They are very good, the service is very friendly, and the price is good, just not a great place to sit down and enjoy an authentic Mexican meal.

I can never eat the whole thing! You get your choice of beef, pork, chicken or vegetarian burritos or tacos. I love the chicken burritos. You get to choose what you want to add to it. They are huge! The price is adequate for the amount of food.

This small spot serves fresh tacos and burritos. They burritos are big enough to split. The tacos come in orders of 3 but can be served in less quantities. I had a delicious pork taco and my Son had a chicken burrito that he split with a friend. Service was quick and cheerful!

I ate at one mexican place while in Missoula and found the food to be very sub par. I was very happy to stumble across El Diablo this afternoon and the made to order buritto's they make. Very impressed with the freshness and taste of my carne asada burrito.

I like El Diablo much better than the other taco shops in town...although I do think some of the ingredients are bland and could use more spice and flavor, El Diablo serves mahi mahi (which I love) and season their rice with cilantro. They also have sauteed veggies for vegetarians and for adding to burritos and tacos. Definitely choose El... More

Driving through Missoula and ate here for a quick lunch with friends. It's a small restaurant with about 10 tables in downtown. I had chicken soft tacos and my husband had the carne asada burrito. Both were very tasty and fresh. Staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Highly recommend!

The chicken burrito we ordered was very fresh and delicious. We were able to make two meals out of it which made it an even better value. We loved it enough to consider returning a second time before we left town, but didnt' get a chance.

They are big, eat half and save the other for later. Freshly made right in front of you.
