Best Za In the Zoo

Biga serves a mean slice and is definitely the best pizzeria in Missoula. The place is packed most evenings so I tend to get take out as it's loud and cramped and not all that enjoyable to eat in when you have a small child. The menu rotates seasonly between the summer and winter months. My... read more

My family and I went here, for the first time. There was about an hour wait which was annoying. I half expected it since it was a Friday but once I seen how small it was and how you could only really wait outside, I expected it to be a long night. Food was nothing special, salad was average at... More

I had seen some good reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. I've had great pizza all over the USA and this place just doesn't measure up. The pizza I had along with the others that came out if the kitchen were overcooked. There's nothing worse than burned cheese. It just wasn't very good and I... More

By far the best pizza in Missoula and probably the best pizza in Montana. We love the mushroom arugula pizza in summer and the Flathead Cherry in winter. The salads are amazing, the special salad is large enough for two or three to share.

Biga Pizza serves an excellent pizza at a very reasonable price. They have a range of toppings and you can select your own or order one of their recipes. The pizza was served fresh and hot and the crust was a delicious thin crust. They also have a nice atmosphere and a good selection of beers and wines

Biga Pizza is a nice pizza joint in Missoula. They have traditional and also specialty pizza. We had a Tuscan pizza which was very tasty. My only complaint was that the seating area is limited. We sat outside which was fine, but might not be enjoyable based on the sun. Wait staff was very friendly.

The reviews are absolutely right, this place has the best pizza for miles. One pro tip: go early. We arrived right after they opened and the place was nearly full soon after. As an amateur dough maker myself, I can tell you that a "biga" is a pre-dough mix typically done the night before you make your final dough. The... More

Biga has great pizza. They also have a good selection of craft beer (no surprise here), but also a great selection of wines (more unusual in Montana). They have all the expected pizza combinations, but also a few that are unexpected. Whatever you select, you'll enjoy your meal and have attentive and friendly service. Enjoy!

Was torn between The Shack and this local gem. Once standing on the sidewalk and seeing the bustling entrance we knew we were in the right place. The specials are great, and the wood fired pizza is one of the tastiest I've ever had. Make sure you get the Huckleberry Soda!
