Oh my gosh - the PERFECT PASTY!

Pasties are meat pies that the Cornish miners used to take down for their lunches in England. Lisa uses only fat free steak pieces, and is careful about not using sharp pieces of potatoes that might pierce the crust. Fat free gravy or catsup - pure Heaven!

Lisa's Pasty, besides the Pasties, the Reuben Sandwiches are the best I've had here. Also there fries are fresh cut potatoes not frozen which makes them better than the rest in town. If you but the meal then you get a fruit turnover, myself and my grand-daughter highly recommend the Blueberry.

Lisa's Pasty Pantry has been in Missoula for more years then I can remember. Their biggest 'hit' is their Pasties, which are a homerun! Mind you, come only if you are very hunger (they are large) or with the plan on bringing half home for another meal. They have petite dessert pasties with fruit filling, which you just can't say... You'd never know from the outside what delicious things await you. Each pasty is huge, and even the vegetarian one was amazing. Awesome value as well. They even have adorable little dessert pasties! Definitely worth a trip of you're in Missoula, we even went twice.

The cocktail pasties are my absolute favorite! However everything I've had here is amazing. The fries may be the best in town. Plus every visit feels a little like having lunch at your grandma's house, in a good way!

One of the best, if not the best meal value in Missoula. Reasonably priced meals that come with or without soup, coleslaw and several choices of potatoes (French fries, etc.). The Pasty is better than we can find in Butte and the Pork Chop Sandwich is to die for, as well as a great Reuben. They have several other items... More

I've been a customer of Lisa's Pasty Pantry ever since I first learned about it, probably 15 or more years ago. THE BEST pasties around, especially if you add some yummy gravy. Seriously! It's a great little place to eat in or take it to go. They have more than just pasties too, but honestly I've never ordered anything else,... More

Montana people understand the value of a delicious Pasty. The crust just has to be perfectly flaky, and strong enough to hold all the goodies inside, and always just cooked to a golden brown. The insides must be meaty and potato-y and steaming hot, and the gravy must be thick brown gravy, and you must have enough to smother the... More

The location is a little off the beaten path in an industrial area. We got a pork chop sandwich meal and a beef pasty meal and both were very good. I asked our server Molly, who was very personable, for some mayo for my sandwich and she brought about 6 different toppings for me to try. They also sell a... More

If you are looking for a hardy "Montana Miner" meal this is the place. A pasty has meat or sausage or veggies wrapped inside a kind of pastry, it is a "miner" tradition, not what one would think of as a pastries. The seasonal ingredient homemade soup, the pork chop sandwich and hamburgers are most excellent and you won't go... More
