I've been a customer of Lisa's Pasty Pantry ever since I first learned about it, probably 15 or more years ago. THE BEST pasties around, especially if you add some yummy gravy. Seriously! It's a great little place to eat in or take it to go. They have more than just pasties too, but honestly I've never ordered anything else,... More

Montana people understand the value of a delicious Pasty. The crust just has to be perfectly flaky, and strong enough to hold all the goodies inside, and always just cooked to a golden brown. The insides must be meaty and potato-y and steaming hot, and the gravy must be thick brown gravy, and you must have enough to smother the... More

The location is a little off the beaten path in an industrial area. We got a pork chop sandwich meal and a beef pasty meal and both were very good. I asked our server Molly, who was very personable, for some mayo for my sandwich and she brought about 6 different toppings for me to try. They also sell a... More

If you are looking for a hardy "Montana Miner" meal this is the place. A pasty has meat or sausage or veggies wrapped inside a kind of pastry, it is a "miner" tradition, not what one would think of as a pastries. The seasonal ingredient homemade soup, the pork chop sandwich and hamburgers are most excellent and you won't go... More

My "Hoosier" wife fell in love with the hamburgers in Missoula when visiting me there over half a century ago. Of the great burger places still in existence, only the "Missoula Club" remains, and we had planned to go there for lunch, until two gentlemen with whom we were discussing various topics told us it was still good, but we... This is a cute, funky little place located in what appears to be an old garage. Our server was friendly & cheerful -- she acted like our showing up with a Groupon was the best thing that happened to her all day. (How often do you get THAT reaction?) We got a pork chop sandwich and a beef pasty, and... More

This place makes amazing hearty pastys. I had never heard of this place until I was scrolling across new places in Missoula to try. I was surprised many people haven't been here or heard of it. I was very impressed with my experience at Lisa's Pasty Pantry and I hope they get the opportunity to relocate to a more visible... More

Butte lovers this is the place for you. We knew we would not get to stop in Butte so I went online to see if Missoula had pasty's and sure enough there was a great little shop. I reviewed the hours of operation and discovered that we might just make the cut off time for sit down eating so put... More

We buy the pasties by the dozen and freeze them, so we always have some on hand. The Pantry itself is small and I've never actually eaten there -- just bought the pasties to take home. They're HUGE and delicious.
