I'm not from here, and I was not expecting much in the way of "fine cuisine" in this area... boy, was I surprised. OUTSTANDING !! In a part of town called the Hip Strip... old, run down, and recently being renovated by the "artsy" community. Fantastic tapas type menu with wonderful spices. Took a "world tour" for the palate, and... More

It occurred to me by the end of my wonderful meal, that this small and unpretentious restaurant just served me one of the greatest meals that I have ever eaten. I likened the experience to a trip to the amusement park for my taste buds. Between my dining partner and I, we tried 1 salad, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts,... More

Husband and I tried 5 different dishes. They were all very good. The mushroom dish was my favorite. I would recommend this place.

This time is was Asia, Eastern Mediterranean, Europe, Africa and The Americas. We had two plates from each and we loved every one. Additionally the... More

I have always been a fan of Ray Risho's cooking. The variety is never ending and always an adventure to try foods from around the world. Love to go with my adult children and experiment with different food. My favorite place to be treated to on my birthday.

4 Friends kept the waitress hopping as we made a number of selections from a world wide menu of tapas. Each plate had enough tasty food to whet the appetite for the following item. We enjoyed 8 selections from a wide variety of locals - China, Israel, and India. Desert was a ginger blueberry shortcake!

I've never been to the Silk Road when I haven't had the best food. I never know what the selections will be, but they are always so good. The chef, Abe Risho, is inventive and produces the highest quality dishes. I see him Saturday mornings at the Farmer's Market, purchasing wonderful produce to use in the restaurant. And his brother,... More

How it works: you get the menu. There are 5 or so nationalities to select from. Each has roughly 6 dishes you can choose from. Each dish is small. Price ranges from $6-$11. The food is fresh and made to order. The 3 dishes I had were all excellent and loaded with unique flavors. Since there is no tax in... More

Stopped for dinner on a long road trip. Loved the Japanese eggplant. All of the meat dishes were just OK. We had great service. Beer selection was fun.

I read about this restaurant on trip advisor (I'll never go anywhere without looking at trip advisor first) and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and fun. So many fragrant and wonderful dishes your taste buds never have a chance to get bored. The people and servers were so nice (but then again, it is Missoula where everyone is... More
