If, and only if, you are a big meat eater, should you order any of the large sized offerings. Quite the place...open seating on banquet, caterers type tables. It certainly has a following and rightly so. They also know how to serve a great vodka martini. so it's more than just meat on a plate. The joint was jammed on... More

My wife's streak was excellent! I know because she shared it with me as my prime rib was so undercooked (med well) the fat was Raw and covered in a gravy! Not au juice. The salad was from a bag and tasted of preservatives. We skipped desert as my stomach refused any more punishment. There are much better places closer... More

We went here for dinner at the recommendation of local law enforcement. It’s nothing fancy, but had a fun western atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, even on a week night. The food was good and the prices were great for the amount of food you got. The portions of meat were huge, so you will not go away hungry. The table... More

My cousins and I always end our Montana fly fishing trip with a steak dinner at Sir Scott's Oasis. This is a very popular place so reservations are a must, even during the week. Oasis is not a fancy place but it's decor is charmingly western. The servers are very attentive and are very good and refilling water, coffee, or... More

We came here due to an internet message that was anti-communist regarding jane fonda and ted turner. Apparently the internet rumor was wrong. Everything else was right. We had an excelent meal and met some nice local folks (who sometimes play the part of the supposed owners, throwing out ted and jane.) Good food at a reasonable price. Also a... More

We went as a large group (20+)--had called ahead for reservations--and they were ready for us by putting together several tables in the back. The service was quick and the waitress was very attentive to us and the children in the group. Most of us had prime rib and it was absolutely perfect--exactly as each customer requested! This is a... With four "starving" kids we did leave this place well pleased. The call ahead helped, and we enjoyed ourselves despite the wait. Call ahead, and prepare to be well treated.

It's been a long time since I had been here. The meal was excellent, just as it was last time. I had the Prime Rib, small, it was delicious. Tupperware on the table for your salad dressing and dressed very casual, I enjoyed myself immensely.

Wife and I ate dinner here last night. Place is a hole in the wall type of place with dated decor and old tables/chairs. Some might see this as charming, but it all had a feeling of tiredness to it. The table for 2 was very crowded with the various things one might expect to find: salt, pepper, couple of... More

Many people go here for large steak and other dinners (including us), but they also serve excellent lunches. Soups are great, but I got a burger. Portions are large, so ask for a box if you need one. The bar was in full swing when we ate lunch here. The rumor about free drinks when a train goes by is... More
