Food is really good!

The stockman is a really good place to have lunch or dinner. The service is speedy and we have never had a meal that we could complain about! Their burgers, soup, and steaks are the best!

Great service an even better food. The portions were gigantic. It had a real comfortable local feeling.

We were sent here at the suggestion of the motel where we were staying. This is a great place to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great. The atmosphere is also great. Locals and tourist were enjoying the night.

We went here on a recommendations form the chamber of commerce and she told us don't be put off when you go in and it looks like a bar. The front part is a bar and the dining room is in the back with maybe a dozen small tables. We waited about 30 minutes but did not know they took... More

It is still 1950 at this classic bar and steakhouse. Don't go unless you want a great steak and baked potato loaded. Dinner salad is very fresh and cold with all the 1000 dressing you want. What else would a meat eater like me want. My wife (not so much of a meat eater) even appreciated the meal. It is... More

I've eaten here on several occasions. I haven't had a bad meal. My Favorite item would be the Prime Rib!! I highly recommend it, if your a prime rib lover. Grilled Cheese is also the bomb!!

If you want a no nonsense, authentic place for a great burger, then try the Stockman. Beef or bison? They have both and they do it so well.

We have been going to Stockman Bar since we moved to Montana 17 years ago. The wait staff are friendly, and call us by name. We used to be able to just walk in, but if you want to go on a Friday or Saturday night, reservations are recommended. The food is just good old-fashioned fare, and tastes like you... More

I took my wife to the Stockman Bar and Grill for her 50th birthday present. We drove over 100 miles to Livingston, stayed overnight at the Murray Hotel (highly recommended) and we went down to the Murray Bar (highly suggested to avoid) for an adult beverage and food. When Mike (bartender at Murray Bar) never even spoke to us at... More

Best blue cheese salad dressing ever. Fab. French dip sandwich. Great steak & shrimp combo. Frys are home made and great for gravy dipping.
