Good local place

When we travel; we ask for recommended places from locals (instead of "chains" that are all alike). This was a good find. Good and fair prices. Don't let the name fool ya....it's not all about beans. Large selection menu. Unique setting right next to railroad tracks. Neat history on menu. Would... read more

Recommend by a friend of ours, we ate there last spring. The food was awful, and the environment was unfriendly. Today we pulled in & parked in the parking lot, wanting to give this business another try, thinking maybe they were just having an off day on our first visit. As we walked through the parking lot, we were met... More

A very good place to eat breakfast! Great service, smiling friendly people, good prices & large portions! It's in a historical building also.

Stopped here last year on the way through Livingston and made a point of coming back this year. This is just simple home cooking and never disappoints. I had the steak and eggs again and it was superb again. I highly recommend this place when you're in Livingston.

This building is at the side of the Northern Pacific depot, and was likely the restaurant then. The food is honest diner food, well-prepared and with friendly competent staff. Only open for breakfast and lunch but good for an early breakfast (from 0700) -- the made-from-scratch buttermilk hotcakes are outstanding.

Went in with my daughters for lunch. We ordered soup and sandwiches. Great food for a really inexpensive price. Great family atmosphere

They have a great little dinner style bar that feels like the 60's that you can sit by yourself and enjoy an excellent sandwich ice crem and pie!!! Delicious

Great friendly staff and service. Homemade soup was outstanding, food was hot and well prepared, and the homemade pies are sinfully to die for. A small town atmosphere, plus you might get lucky to have the train pass you by while you eat. While we were eating the owners didn't seem to turn anyone away even though it was already... More

We love to stop here on our way through Livingston and eat breakfast. They have great food and great service. I had my usual. Eggs, sausage and hashbrowns and toast. Norm had their home made beef hash. Had too many onions but he loved it. They always get my eggs just right (over easy) and the service is quick. We... More

I particularly enjoy home style diners, and the Beanery is just that. The food is very good. My wife had soup and sandwich, and she thought the home made soup was outstanding, and her sandwich was very good too. I had a Reuben sandwich with my choice of two house side. The Reuben was very good, and their home made... More
