Lunch was awesome, service was friendly and fast. I had a turkey sandwich and the asian slaw is the best!!! Highly recommend!

One of our favorite restaurants for breakfast is under new ownership and food just isn't the same. Corn chowder was undercooked and corn was tough. Pastrami sandwich was two small slices of pastrami and dry. French fries were weak and dining experience was below average. Server was great as was hostess but they couldn't make up for the low quality... More

Great breakfast and sandwiches. This is located in the old NP crew hotel or (beanery) and is very scenic with the railroad operation right out the windows.

New owner renamed the cafe. It's new name reflects the railroad theme inside. Look out the windows and you may see the train going down the tracks. Love to hear the train whistle. I wish the cafe was open at nights.

We were looking forward to a great breakfast in this restaurant which is located in the old train depot. We had had an excellent breakfast there in June 2009. Well, things have changed... We were sorely disappointed. My husband ordered the special, which was a breakfast scramble. It was like a hard hockey puck. No flavor. No fluffy eggs. Dreadful.... More

We spent over 90 minutes to have a simple breakfast. We saw one couple leave after 45 minutes or so. The manager did pay for our breakfast and we had time to wait so we saw it through. The omelet was more like two fried eggs rolled over with cheese and sausage in the middle. We think maybe the cook... More

Breakfast was delicious - basic bacon, eggs, pancakes. Service was great. Right across from the Murray Hotel, so convenient. Same building as the Northern Pacific RR Depot which, according to our local source, was designed by the same architect who designed Grand Central Station in NY. Beautiful.

Wow, what a treat! I stopped by the Northern Pacific Beanery have the Walleye for their Friday Night Fish Fry, and after hearing about the Mahi Mahi changed my mind. The special for the night was a Ginger Honey Glazed Mahi Mahi, orzo with wild mushrooms, parmesan and cream sauce, steamed broccoli, and mango/pineapple salsa. My expectations were met! The... More

Go there for a good old-fashioned country breakfast. Make sure you're not in a hurry, though. Outstanding food and local atmosphere. Waiters and waitresses could benefit with a little hustle.
