So I work for a local hotel and I came up with a list of restaurants I liked for my guests to enjoy. Adagio s being one of them. Well this past week I have had several customer's tell me that there visit to the restaurant was HORRIBLE. Cook/Staff cussing and making guests feel uncomfortable for coming in close to... More

They were busy but.....first let me say the food was good. Not sure there is another Italian restaurant in Livingston. But what made this a bad experience is they only had one waitress and no one cleaning up tables. So we ate our meal surrounded by tables with dirty dishes. I can not accept that.

HORRIBLE! To start the menus were unlaminated paper and had things spilled on them them so you couldn't read some of the menu items. The floor was dirty with crumbs. It took almost 40 mins to get the food, 15 mins before we got drinks and I had to ask for water twice. The chicken Caesar salad had about 15... More

Adagio's food is quite good and you can eat in or out. The wines can be special as they are reasonably priced and Jim takes great pride in choosing them. You will find wines here from Italy that you don't find elsewhere.

I was excited to take my family here. We sat ourselves outside and waited and waited! Finally we went inside and asked for menus and water. We waited and waited again. Waitress came out again and gave our water to a different table. We waited and waited again. Finally I went in to the waitress inside and said I would... More

Small store front Italian restaurant in the middle of town. Indoor and outdoor (sidewalk) seating. The owner is the chef and his wife handles everything else. The chef walked around and chatted with all the guests. He makes a mean veal piccata which was terrific. But the best was the peach and basil ice cream (to die for!). You won't... More

I really don't get the few bad reviews before me because this place was very good and I'm not an easy costumer. We didn't plan or checked about this place ahead and just happened to stop by looking for dinner when finished our 3 days Yellowstone trip. There were a few other tables with couples inside and it looked nice... More

Haven't been in years, this is why: Went twice, first time pasta undercooked; second time pasta overcooked. I live in town and watch the owner either scratching his bum or smoking (constantly!) and then cooking food. Too much money and the food is pretty boring. Whoever keeps saying it is just like Italy needs to actually go to Italy. I... More

I am from Louisiana where the food is exceptional. I have been fortunate to have eaten here many times. IT IS NOT A PIZZA JOINT !!! It is an excellent Northern Italian restuarant with only fresh ingredients and a great Italian wine list. Prices for both are extremely reasonable for what you get. It is also a family restaurant, also,... More
