Unusual Place; Great Pizza and Beer

You would never know what was behind those swinging saloon doors until you stepped in! On a busy street, nobody in sight except a lot of cars, a plain vertical "Saloon" sign is not exactly inviting. As a Canadian, not familiar or comfortable with walking into these kind of places, I would never... read more

The pizza is great - especially sausage, sauerkraut and jalapenos (don't knock it 'til you've tried it), but the sandwiches are the real deal. And a deal they are at $5.35ea. Goes great with the soup & salad bar at lunch. When it's super busy ordering a sandwich is the right call because it's a matter of 5-10 min vs... More

Very lively saloon. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the pizza. Service was great and it was in walking distance to our hotel!

There are no pretenses about being pretty, posh, or fancy. Moose's (names after its founder, Moose Miller) is a no frills bar and pizza place in Kalispell, MT. It is probably the BEST bar and pizza place in Kalispell, so go there to have a fun time with friends and to enjoy terrific pizza and beverage of your choice ...... More

Visited this place on March 13th and at first I wasn't sure I was going to stay. There are no servers, so you have to go up to the bar and get your beer and you have to go up to the order window and order your food. Me and my friend were tired from a 6 hour drive to... More

Yes this place is loud , crowded , dark, and rustic but that is what it makes it a great unique place to hang out for a quick beer and delicious pizza. We have to visit every time we come and it has been over 25 years we have visited ! Don't come here if you want fancy . Find... More

Pitchers of beer; peanuts to shell and throw shells on the floor; good pizza. Can't get better than that, but "yes" it does because it is in what looks like an old cowboy bar. We have been stopping in for over 20 years (remember the old smokey haze) but we can now breathe and enjoy. Guess it is an experience.... More

I love the thin crust pizza here, the vegetarian one is my favorite. It's a different kind of place to eat in; loud, messy, crowded, dark, and vandalized. The first time I went I was shocked by the place, and yes I had trouble adjusting to it. The second time I was more prepared and the pizza is really good... More

We came in because everyone said, "you ve got to go to moose's". Walked in, no clue what this place was about. Walked around the place for a good 5 mins trying to figure out if we were to be seated or if we seat ourselves. It was so loud in there I couldn't even hear my self think. We... More

This is old information, but my wife and I stumbled across Moose's in 1991 after we had gone to Glacier NP. The place had a small sign that said "Bar". It was the coolest place. It had a racetrack shaped bar and was full of patrons of all types. Their cash register was a gigantic silver mechanical job that looked... More
