Two of our late lunch fivesome were Kalispell (and therefore, Sykes) ex-pats. Consequently, a visit to Sykes was mandatory. Four of the five of us had not been to Sykes since its renovation. We were glad that we came. No, we did not have breakfast with the Norwegian bachelor farmers, Native Americans and cowboys who used to make up the... More

We were taken here by our friend, a resident in Kalispell. My omelette was overcooked and rubbery - and once our food was served, we basically never saw our server again. (I do think we were able to catch her one time to for coffee and water refills.) We felt badly for our hometown friend. We would not return.

I ate here recently with my mother-in-law on a Sunday morning...the place was packed so we browsed in the grocery store while we waited for a table. We had good service considering how busy it was, a little slow on coffee refills, but oh the coffee! It was the best restaurant coffee I've had in a really long time! My... More

We recently tried Sykes because of the positive reviews. It was great! The food was good, there were many choices and the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. I had a burger made with local meat and it was delicious. My husband tried out some of the breakfast items and also enjoyed them. We even had a violin and piano accompaniment... More

Fun restaurant with an inexpensive and down home menu. I had the prime rib and coconut cream pie. Very good.

Based on other reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try for breakfast. We were more than pleasantly surprised as everything, food, wait times, service, and even the price were just great. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Sykes Restaurant is a great family restaurant where the locals go and have been for many years. The staff is very friendly and their home made pies are their pride & joy. They also have a small store with a variety of grocery items and such, connected to the restaurant. It is little off the main street, if you can't... More

I stopped by the market to pick up some fresh meat for grilling and seen the restaurant. I travel in a motorhome full time so was interested to try their food after seeing their menu. I had the turkey dinner which was very good. I like the fact they searve breakfast all day since I'm an egg, biscuit and gravy... More

So our family eats at Sykes at least 3-4 times a month. We ordered food to go last night, My husband got a open faced steak sandwich, payed $10, got home and it wasn't a open face sandwich, it was a half a bun and very small piece of steak. I called the manager and asked if that was right... More
