First off, let me say we enjoyed the handy location just off the Main Street, the room is bright and airy, and the food was excellent. However, the three blondes serving lunch need some additional training. When I asked the person who took our drink order to identify where the IPA beer I ordered came from she thought from India... The inside of the cafe is very interesting. The walls have pictures of the town from the past. The cafe used to be a mercantile and still has the original floor and brick walls. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The soup special was tomato soup but it was more of a vegetable tomato soup. The puréed vegetables over powered the... More

Love this quaint cafe. The breakfast never disappoints(my favorite is the California Benedict with bacon) and is complimented by a staff of always engaging, attentive servers. The beautiful space and relaxed atmosphere also adds to an overall experience.

The atmosphere is really nice in this place. Our waitress was friendly & helpful. The food portions are generous and it tasted okay, but nothing special. My husband & I were there on a Saturday night at 8:00pm. There were only 2 other couples there besides us. The place is open until 9:00pm. While we were eating dessert at 8:45,... More

What's really nice is that If you get in there before 9:00 am then breakfasts are only $5.00. Great atmosphere too.

Having dinner here was a fun experience. The staff is very accommodating and helpful in choosing your order. The restaurant has very high ceilings and feels very open. The tables are spread far apart from each other making you feel like you're the only one in the room. Great food in the double digits pricing.

I just had breakfast at the Split Rock Cafe and found it to be a fairly priced and nice dining experience. The menu was a little small, but the quality was better than other local restaurants and the atmosphere was clean and appealing. The staff was friendly and accomedating and willing to help. I noticed that the health inspector gave... More
