A cousin who lives in Great Falls AND two Helena friends recommended Steve's independently, so we figured it had the favor of the locals. We went for an early breakfast in late August while passing through. Our waiter was the Magician who I now see has some fame on TripAdvisor! He is totally unassuming. He describes the day's specials, and... More

While in Helena for a few days we ended up eating here 3 times. Amazing food and service. They are open for breakfast and lunch Wonderful menu, food and service. I just can't say enough about how great this place is. I love non-chains and this is stunning in so many ways. The front of the restaurant is so pretty... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday around noon. They were busy but we were immediately seated. The service was a little slow but not bad since they were busy and the servers were nice. I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and onion rings. The bbq sauce wad a little greasy but tasted good. The onion... More

We enjoy frequent visits to Steve's, both restaurants because the food is always very good, friendly service is guaranteed and we feel at home there. The breakfasts are special with the homemade sausages.

Wife, daughter and I stopped for breakfast on the way out of town, there are two Steve's that I know of, one near the Capital and the other (where we ate) just off of I-15 on East Custer. Nothing fancy. Good coffee, and it comes in a mug, not a little cup. scrambled eggs were good and the hash browns... More

We really enjoyed our meal here! We enjoyed the pancakes and the biscuits as well as the omelets. The portions were huge and were more than we could eat, so we were able to take some home for later. We will definitely eat here again!

I can't believe how many other people rated this place as good. We went for lunch and they may be better for breakfast, but I'm not sure why they would be. The cheese bread was a white bun with loads of congealed yellow cheese, served cold. The spinach salad was drowned in dressing and just icky. My husband's meatball sub... More

I don't normally write reviews, but this place was so good I couldn't resist. Food was excellent, and service was the best I have ever had. The waiter Troy did magic tricks for us as he waited on us! He made it a memorable stop. Just wish this was a place I could visit again. Go here you won't be... More

We have eaten here three times between two locations in Helena. The portions are huge. We had two breakfasts. The pancakes are huge. The bacon is thick and the patty sausage was very satisfying. A Reuben sandwich was awesome. You won't leave hungry.

Spent the night in Helena while travelling and decided to give Steve's cafe a try rather than a chain restaurant, afyer reading other reviews. Glad we did. Great breakfast. Freshly prepared, and worth a try. All the locals seems to go here and we know why. Just off the highway so a good spot to stop. Also noticed (but didn't... More
