Everyone visiting Great Falls MUST experience the Sip 'n Dip Lounge. There is no other place like it anywhere! The decor and ambiance are exactly what I picture of piano bars back in the 70s. Make sure you visit when both Piano Pat is playing, and the mermaids are swimming. Going any other time would just not be worth it.... More

We had a wonderful time at the Sip & Dip Lounge. We had one drink and no food. Pat was playing the organ and singing and one mermaid was swimming in the tank. She was great and played to the audience. It was packed when we walked in and found one seat at the bar. A gentleman gave up his... More

This was our destination on a Harely ride. We were not disappointed. With the ambiance, mermaids and Piano Pat, what more could you ask for. The drinks were fine, it was Prime Rib night and it was good, my buffalo burger was over cooked, but not bad. We had a great time. Make sure to get there around 8pm, it... More

Although food is served, I would never, ever, ever classify this as a "restaurant". I give it stars not for food, not for beverage, not for ambiance, but solely because nothing else quite like it exists on this planet, and it is definitely worth a visit if you know what to expect. Very cocktail lounge-type 50s decor - turquoise and... More

Just had to visit after a local performance. The 'fishbowl' is still just as good. Piano Pat is still hammering away at the piano. Been there at least 50+ years. Didn't try the food. Drinks still just ok.

Had to go...looked at the reviews...photos...and my whiskey was calling my name. Not disappointed...like stepping back to the good old days. Sure do miss all those smoookie bars in my youth. Go..you'll have fun.

My wife and I stopped in here for a drink. The woman behind the bar couldn't crack a smile if her life depended on it. People were bringing kids in to pose with the mermaid behind the bar (very different for our Alberta roots), and Piano Pat was droning out some Johnny Cash medley in her own style (kudos for... More

First off, let me start by saying that " I Love This Bar" .....the Sip n Dip is a must visit in Great Falls!! Don't judge me but I have been to quite a few drinking establishments and all I can say about this place is if you looked up the word Kitsch in the dictionary, the Sip n Dip... More

This place is very run down, no mermaids, just kids in the hotel pool. Very dark..... I don't get it....we walked in and walked right back out.

This was my second visit to the Sip 'n Dip Lounge. My husband and I had an overnight stay in Great Falls and just had to return to this establishment. What makes this bar so appealing is the uniqueness of the atmosphere: live mermaids, indoor tiki bar, and a keyboard player that has performed there for decades. However, on this... More
