We were disappointed that the mermaids don't work on Sundays or Mondays, but this campy tiki lounge serves Montana beers and is worth checking out. Definitely an unusual place, and I could see it being a lot of fun on a weekend.

This Lounge was featured on CBS TV and in GQ Magazine and should be on your bucket list. If you are traveling between Glacier National Park and Yellowstone, make a beeline for Great Falls and the O'Haire Motor Inn. Just check ahead for the mermaids and Pat's Piano schedule. This place gets a wonderful mix of people of all ages.... More

A small lounge with a tiki bar vibe where everyone is friends. Spend the evening meeting people and watching mermaids. They have a full restaurant menu at night, I recommend the sample platters a nice variety of good food.

This is a great pkace. If you want different than usual this is it. Fun atmosphere with the piano singer and mermaids. Kind of like going back in time. Worth the time to check this place out. I have never seen anything like this and that is refreshing

I read the reviews & we happened to be in GF sat night before our flight Sunday morning. It is unique to have the mermaid swimming as you order drinks so that's interesting. Maybe worth seeing once. But, overall the place is pretty much a dump. A few slot machines to the side as well. Place was packed. Service was... More

It's a little bit tourist trap, a little bit dive bar, a little bit local hangout. And with all of that, great food and drinks! Make sure to stop by if you're traveling to great falls for some reason.

Mermaids do exist! When my friends moved to Great Falls, I promised to visit them. Since weather, time and just wanting to hang out, really didn't permit a site-seeing trip, I thought there must be something in this odd little town that attracts people. I jumped on Yelp to look for food and found it is definitiely the Sip 'n... More

In the past this was named the best bar in the US. Mermaids in a large water tank, retro beach décor, Pat at the organ for 50 years now. What an absolute hoot. We happened to be there during the professional rodeo and knew lots of the folks there. I think everyone in Montana has about one degree of separation... More

We were on a road trip earlier this week and stopped by the Sip N' Dip for a drink. Carl, the bartender, first talked us into staying for dinner (which was pretty darn decent) and then talked us into staying for the mermaids and Pat. I'm so glad that we did! The service was beyond excellent (thanks, Carl!), the atmosphere... More

What a blast. From the moment you enter the Sip you feel as if you have stepped back in time. The drinks are cool and refreshing, the people warm and friendly, the mermaids are a kick and Pat, well she is so much fun and has a huge following. On the weekends if you aren't there early you won't get... More
