We love Crooked Tree. Coffee and chai is excellent (although more expensive than most places in town), cupcakes are yummy (even the day-olds). Love the bright, clean, well-lit atmosphere downtown. Service is usually superb/we only had one "rude" experience with a barista when she snapped at us "the line is over there!" (there was only one other person in line... More

Cupcakes aren't hard to make, and if you're going to sell them then they better be fresh. Otherwise you should just give them away. Iced chai was blech, too sweet, and of the packaged powder or concentrate variety. Service was fine and the interior was cool with lots of space.

Great place to have a coffee and to relax with WiFi. I would recommend Crooked Tree Coffee and Cakes to anyone in the area.

Amazing! Worth the stop for one of the best Lattes I've ever had. They also have amazing cupcakes, and very reasonable prices. So much better than anything you can get at a chain coffee shop!

Good shop. Good vibe. Worth a visit. Cupcakes are good and the second floor is a nice place to hang out.

Coffee was great... Couldn't decide what treat we wanted so we tried a few. Vanilla Cupcake, lemon cupcake and chocolate chip cookies. All delicious. The baker making the macarons was great and allowed me to take a picture of her making macarons so I could send to my daughter who loves making these sweet little treats.

This is the best downtown coffee spot. Wifi, best pastries in town, run by two sisters that make it a favorite hangout for ages 15 to 90. Occasional impromptu music, I had Karla Adolphe play there once, and also help produce a show with some young people. if you like coffee, and friendly folks, it is a "local secret" you... More

If anything beware their cupcakes are delicious and you will want to try all the favors. So far German chocolate is my favorite.

We've been visiting Great Falls regularly for a few years now but it took my daughter to discover The Crooked Tree just a block off Central on First Avenue North, near downtown shopping. She is gluten sensitive and was searching for a shop that offered gluten free alternatives. We didn't all indulge in gluten free offerings but we did all... More

After reading the reviews about this place my family and I decided to stop and see what everyone was raving about. We didn't even finish walking through the door when someone started asking us what we wanted.Wait a second! I've never been there before. How do I know what I want. After rushing to order we ended up getting crappy coffee and 2... More
