Sawtooth no longer exists and has been replaced by the Raven. We have not been to the Raven but had enjoyed Sawtooth for several years. They had a decent breakfast and really good deli sandwiches.

I worked in Yellowstone last summer and ate here when we exited the Park through Gardiner. They have great food and friendly staff. my only complaint is the hours and kind of random, opening for awhile and then closing for a few before opening again, and they seem to change a lot. But a great place to eat if you... More

Change of management, and this year this restaurant provides some of the best food in town. Grilled entrees are their best items on the menu. I always have the grilled chicken, fish or pasta. I like the fact that the food is fresh, and the chef uses spices in a more sophisticated way. A bit spendy, but no different from... More

I loved the service, and the atmosphere. The prices are in line, with the type of restaurant. I only advise that you tell the waitress to go easy on the cooking time, if you order fish. They tend to overcook it until it is very very dry. And what otherwise would have been a very good job turns out to... More

The food is low quality and the place is very dirty. There are better places to eat in Gardiner.

The restaurant faces on Yellowstone Park. The menu has game (I ordered elk bolognese). The staff were friendly.

Went here for breakfast after asking for advice in the local tourist info place. Turned out to be a decent recommendation. The food was good but the service was a little slow considering how quiet it was.

So, the husband surprised me with a lovely B&B in Gardiner for my 30th birthday (after many days of backcountry camping). He then asked me to pick a place for my birthday dinner, on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. After a bit of online review, I chose Sawtooth Restaurant and Grill. Around 6:30, we headed off for dinner there... More
