Good service and meals. Prime rib is good, but get in early to make sure you get the MR cuts you want. Trout and walleye was good. The wall of quartz between the restaurant and bar by the restrooms is interesting.

We have been at the Yellowstone Mine after an amazing day at the Yellowstone Park. Restaurant was very crowded so it took us some minutes to get seated. Even if it was crowdy the staff was very quick and friendly too. We got some free bread and butter in advance of our dinner. For Main dish wie had steak and... More

The Yellowstone Mine Restaurant is the gold mine of Gardiner MT. Me and my dad were on a cross country trip from CT to OR and we decided to stop in Yellowstone for a few days. Due to a recommendation that we got we went to The Yellowstone mine for dinner and what a great recommendation it ended up being.... More

This is the only place I go to eat when I come out to YNP for a week. I get out there about 2-3 times a year and have now for about 7 years. I have tried other places in the past but I just did not think they were as good for service or food. The staff is always... More

As others have noted, its the only real restaurant in town during the winter. Given this and the location we had 2 good dinners, trout and filet. The wine was OK too, service good and the atmosphere pleasant. I recommend it completely and can compare to to the restaurants at Mammoth and Old Faithful. The Mine is better.

If you've been to Gardiner in the winter, you know that most of the town shuts down. There are very few dining options, so I didn't expect much going into dinner at the Yellowstone Mine. To my great surprise and delight, we had an awesome meal here. Its an old-school steakhouse with friendly waitresses whom you can tell are locals.... More

My father, friend, 10 & 6 year old sons and I ate dinner at the Mine one evening after a visit to Yellowstone. We were starving! This restaurant came highly recommended, so we were excited. Our appetizer was good, but 2 of us ordered fish and it was awful!! I'm not sure how you can make pan fried rainbow trout... More

This is the restaurant of the Best Western Mammoth Hot Spring, but nothing related to the Best Western standards ! We were staying at the BW to do Yellowstone snow mobile tour (which is great), and stay an other night, what a bad choice ! Next morning we had breakfast (voucher provided by the hotel) to the next door restaurant.... More

We ate here twice as it was convenient. Good prices and quick delivery (not many customers about as end of season - stays open all Winter). Satisfactory, and if you don't mind noise then it is fine.
